We found the staff not really that helpful, the stairs to go up with your luggage is not ideal, there was a young man there but he is at the top of stairs and is not paying attention, i saw most people lifting theor bags up the steep stairs…. the layout is a bit weird … and GET RID OF THE CARPET !!! in the rooms!!
The lounge area is majestic!! beautiful original features! The area is quite a ways from main city… very quiet but lovely

Steel mattress springs no topper
"The mattress springs were harsh I am still limping around from the ache in my hip. My back aches and my shoulder is sore. II slept on top of the comforter to add cushion. It helped some. Very nice people and service but I ache and now need a massage to enjoy the rest of my vacation."

"The hotel is a 10 mins Clarice to Giethoorn. As they had mentioned but a beautiful place and lovely location Was sad that we should have stayed here for a day more, the rooms were very neat, clean and comfortable, Bathrooms too were very clean, and the breakfast was excellent even though we were ..."
