"Staff were rude. At checkin she chose to answer many calls meaning checkin took a very long time No directions given. Tried to checkout and apparently the remote for air con had to be taken down but no one tells you this Staff were so rude Meals were below average. A Buffett dinner and breakfast but the serving trays were empty and not refilled The rooms were very noisy and aircon didn’t work so well Had to park a very long way away and two people damaged cars because of narrow road "

"We loved our stay in Trenta, the chalet is spacious and in a stunning location. It’s lovely and peaceful and really special to hear the Soca river so close. I’m not sure if anything has been changed in the bedrooms since previous reviews, but we found them comfy. The kitchen is very basic and overall (as mentioned by others) the chalet is overpriced for what you get, but it’s still a beautiful stay."

"The hotel was located outside of the main tourist area but was a very easy walk from it. The apartment living space was large but the kitchen was small if one had the intention to actually cook in it. However for coffee, use of a refrigerator and a light breakfast, it was fine. I appreciated the washer at this point on our trip and it worked well. Parking was about a 10 minute walk away on mostly flat ground. The Pri Mari restaurant next door was very good. "

"This is one of the few rental properties on our recent trip to Europe where we felt like the owners had gone to a great deal of effort to provide everything you need to be comfortable. The unit was well stocked so we could cook some meals and there was a decent washer on the premises. The grounds of the property were lovely and the views from the unit are wonderful. "Really nice place to stay. Our room was very small but we knew this in advance. We were there during a heatwave so the pool was amazing. The airconditioning is also great. Breakfast is good, really nice pistachio croissants. The restaurant next to the hotel is a nice place to eat. Only negatives thing would be that the hotel is a bit noisy, you can hear people in the hallway in the morning for example. "

"Property was very clean on arrival. Exactly as you see it on pictures. Pool was clean and ready to use. Our 5 year old really loved it. Very quite area very close to main road. Klemen is very professional and helpful host. You can tell he cares about his guests . Highly recommend."

" Beautiful hotel, all rooms are facing the coast. Swimming pool with warm sea water is excellent. Parking is little bit outside of the hotel and might not have enough space. Walking distance to both Portoroz and Piran. The only complaint is no air conditioning in October. It is still warm during the day. Open windows work at night. "

"I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. I wanted to stay in Piran but choose this hotel initially for two reasons: (a) it was walking distance along a promenade to Piran and offered free parking; and (b) it would be staying in a slice of history as the form of the hotel (though not the renovated interiors) harked back to the more brutalist days of the Yugoslav Republic. Then I got there - the staff were unfailingly lovely; the room was big (after several days of tiny rooms); each room has an expansive sea view; the breakfast was out of this world; and it was a beautiful promenade in front of the hotel along the sea. It was really a singular experience and one of the reasons that Piran was a highlight of the trip. My mother (70 yo) felt very poorly on the last night of the trip and was quite ill during the night. As we didn't have to leave to go to the airport until 4pm, I requested a late-check out. Not only did they give my mother the room until 4pm, but they didn't accept extra payment for the additional time in the room. Honestly I can't recommend this hotel more highly!"
