"The apartment was just what we wanted, well located for an easy walk to the beach at John Smith's Bay ...beautiful beach and very quiet when we were there. "We enjoyed our time at this property! As others have noted, a little outdated. I was actually surprised at how much space we had - was not as evident in the photos. We were there with our three kids (ages 3-9) and felt safe in the area. The location was fantastic and the kids loved having the beach so close. "From the outdoor patios to the wide bow window, this home accentuates its spectacular view of Harrington Sound. I enjoyed just sitting on the couch or looking out the windows. Everyone was comfortable lounging or sitting together with the many couches and seats. The kitchen had everything we needed to be able to cook any meal. We had great access to Harrington Sound (a key consideration in booking) and everyone enjoyed many hours swimming, kayaking, and especially paddleboarding on the Sound....

Location allows quick access to zoo/aquarium, smith beach, turner point golf, and some very good restaurants. Great place with great view for a quiet vacation for two."

"Turtle Cliff is a wonderful home set on a cliff overlooking Harrington Sound with beautiful views. We enjoyed the access to the sound with daily swims and access to a paddle board and a kayak. The home is lovingly cared for, comfortable with a gourmet kitchen. The owners could not have been more accommodating, gracious and helpful. We highly recommend this home and location for families who want to spend time together. Our children and grandchildren all want to come back."

"The Chateau Getaway is a lovely older home with beautiful craftsmanship. The two Verandas had wonderful breezes and we enjoyed using them while playing cards, having drinks, watching the sunset & planning our adventures. There is no central AC or "split units" to help cool the house. The only 1st floor AC window unit did not work in that we couldn't change any of the settings, so it was stuck in eco mode at 82 degrees. We ended up not using it & kept it turned off. It was always very hot inside...
