"Buck Meadows is great for saving money during an extended trip to Yosemite- it's clean, quiet, and does the job. Having the Lucky Buck restaurant right next door was convenient- my family's favorites were the french toast, steak and soft pretzel. Staff were friendly and the place filled up later on and had a nice atmosphere. "We spent one night at the 5th Street Inn in Mariposa. The inn is a renovated historic home from all appearances. The bed was comfortable but the table was tiny and the chairs in the room were very hard. Avoid this property if you can't tolerate that or navigate steps up and down.
