Perfect place to watch the stars from, even if you have to hide behind the little church to get away from the hotel lights - it would be nice if they turned off their outside lights when the aurora is on display. "The property was clean and the staff was friendly. The view was incredible. We woke up to the mountains behind us and the ocean and horses in front of us. The only thing was the shower was hard to operate and there is not 24 hour front desk. It was also hard to find a cheap restaurant close by although there were more expensive options. all in all, we loved the room and property and would recommend!"

"Truly a gorgeous apartment on the sea looking out at the Atlantic and the fjords. Amazing sunset views and we saw the aurora borealis our one night there. It is also minutes from the stunning national park at the end of the snaefellsnes peninsula. Best bed and sleep we had in Iceland, would highly recommend. Only thing is the grocery store and even gas station close around 6 (at least on Sunday when we were there) so get groceries early if you need food or plan to cook here! "

"Very spacious and comfortable, quiet apartment overlooking the sea. Very well equipped kitchen and only problem we had was choosing which of several options to sit to enjoy the views! Only minor criticism was bathrooms a bit tatty but clean and functional. Village is easily walkable to enjoy the murals and views. On the edge of the national park as well. Mural Restaurant in Adventure Hotel, 5 minutes walk away is a superb treat for a good meal. "

"The staff was exceptionally friendly. Room was very tidy and the bed was like a cloud compared to the place we came from. The baked goods from the cafe were delicious. The wind was quite fast the night we stayed and you could hear it in the vent in the bathroom but shutting the door did a good enough job to quiet it down a good bit. Would stay here again if I had the chance "
