"Doc's cabin was awesome! My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary even though it was way too much house for just 2. A great price and it had everything we were looking for. A cabin with privacy, a fire pit and a hot tub, yet had modern conveniences such as appliances, tv and internet as well as being close enough to a quaint town in case we wanted to explore! So many interesting and fun things to do! My husband's favorite part was the view. We saw deer from the living room and kitchen windows in the mornings! My favorite thing was the easy to use gas fireplace in the living room! Another fireplace downstairs appeared to be able to burn wood. The furniture was very cozy with plenty of space for games, eating, etc. There were so many historic and antique things to look at within the house! A history of the previous owner was included in a binder so thoughtfully prepared with food and recreational suggestions. We only needed to bring food, clothes and ourselves! Stores and restaurants were nearby and the furthest we needed to go was less than 15 minutes away. I would suggest Fast Eddie's for Italian dinners for delivery. We loved this house so much we would like to plan a family trip to stay here again! Thank you so much to the hosts! We hope to visit again soon!"

"Everything was fine except the breakfast...two hard boiled eggs and a muffin. I was expecting the type of free breakfast provided by most competing hotels. If you breakfast is only to be Continental your ads should say that. the rest of the service was very good."

"Loved the house and property! Our daughter was on fall break so we wanted to go on a little getaway. We enjoyed making meals in the fully stocked kitchen, making s’mores over the outdoor fire, and grilling out! We also loved the cows and goats! Adorable! Thank you "

"If you want a five star luxury hotel look elsewhere. BUT if you need a inexpensive room for a couple of nights this was great. The room was clean had good water pressure from the shower! Myself, son and daughter had a good night’s sleep here while we were at Mid-Ohio for MotoAmerica superbike races. We also took in some of the Movie sights from Shawshank Redemption. We enjoyed our stay and I would definitely stay here again next year!"
