"The host is friendly, she sent a welcome e-mail and instructions early and responded on questions quickly. The house is a few km out from Avesta on river bank, nice and quiet. One rents a one room + kitchen + shower/wc whereas there may be other guests renting other parts of the house. The house and the furniture are pretty old, but fully functional (dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, etc.) It is the perfect place if one looks for a peaceful corner, wishes to make food oneself...

"we really enjoyed our stay here, it's very cozy, lots of nature life (many birds, our 'daily deer' and more). keep in mind that you have to drive to the next town about ca. 20 min. (we combinded our trips with shopping for daily needs, so no problem). the communication with the owners was very friendly, they helped us with everything needed during our stay, including some recommendations about 'what to do, what to see'.
