"Very friendly staff. Amazing breakfast. Average room, but clean. 1 lift for all; stairs area tends to smell of cigarette smoke since downstairs door to rear garden is open most of the time. I had a standard room which means it was to the front where the train tracks are. I didn't actually find the occasional train passing by to be as noisy as people had warned me about. Plus, the hotel provides one with ear plugs should one have a light sleep. I do have a light sleep and I had the window open...

"A really cool hotel in a lovely part of the city, just 15 minutes walk from the centre which we always prefer, but make note of that. Great for confident travelers - app based check in / room keys, self service towels / amenities - didn’t see a member of staff our whole stay which is great for us but might not be for others (my parents wouldn’t coped for example!) Room was clean and loved the full window bathroom! Although even when froster you can see everything so if you’re not traveling...
