We hadn’t visited Grand Summit for a while, but upon our return improvements to the facility made our visit very enjoyable. In particular, the upgrade to the pool area with resurfacing and the addition of a new hot tub was a major improvement. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast in Camp was outstanding!!

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the cabin was! I read the positive reviews and felt comfortable staying there but didn’t realize how spacious and homey the cabin would feel! The beds were super comfortable, having a washer and dryer in the cabin was a pleasant surprise, and the quietness of the entire resort area was fantastic. Super spread out. Renting canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards was really easy. The cabin got a little warm during the day but the three box fans were a big help.

As per its name, the hilltop overlooks a classic New England bay with small boats at anchor. And the property takes full advantage of it with lots of porch and lawn seating. It's a lovely place with a lovely vibe and excellent breakfast.

Great place for a family with young kids. Highly recommend.

We did not have a wonderful experience here. The room was not very clean, including a large sticky spot on the carpet, broken furnishings, cobwebs, and hair in the bathroom when we arrived. It was overall a very dated and not well-maintained room.The Northern Lights Cafe was the only on-site dining available and was very disappointing- we only made that mistake once. We also had to ask multiple times to try to get hot water to our room, which was never fully resolved. Over the course of four days, we never had a complete day with hot water. There are some nice aspects of the hotel, including nightly make-your-own-smores, some fun family games set up in common areas, a nice-looking reception area, and a heated pool. We really enjoyed the area surrounding the hotel for hiking and being outdoors. The people were mostly friendly and tried to be helpful, especially Emmit from maintenance. I wish we could say we loved it, but in the words of my teenager- we just had to stick it out and get through it.
