Centrally located for hiking, swimming, golf, ski, tube, kayak, canoe, eat and drink in the Laurel Highlands, only an hour drive from Pittsburgh, and two hours to the DC metro area. Minutes to State park, Falling Water, Ohiopyle, Idlewild, Sanaview, Flight 93 Memorial, wineries, breweries, restaurants and cafes! Quick overnight
Stopped in for some hiking at Laurel Hill State Park, which was gorgeous! House was cute and efficient, pretty clean (except for some dog hair) with a nice layout and convenient location. Amy was easy to deal with and provided easy access, and the home was stocked with everything we needed. We were a little disappointed that the fireplace had a "do not use" sign on it although it was advertised and there were also a few broken items that needed attention (coffee table, blinds, sliding door) but none of this took away from the trip at all...we had a blast! Thanks Amy!

Cozy and Close
We had a mother/daughter bestie weekend at this cute little getaway! We were so close to Hidden Valley- that was a major win for us. It was warm and inviting. The closest little shop is about 13 minutes away and is truly the basics. Since it was a holiday weekend, we did not get to explore the town much, but heard from the ski instructors that it is beautiful.

Hidden Perfection in Hidden Valley
I spent a total of 5 weeks there. Was sad to leave and will some day go back. This home is incredible comfortable! The neighbor is beautiful, I enjoyed numerous walks around it and up the slopes. Location is ideal as well. Surrounded by state parks, state forests, OhioPyle, Pittsburgh, Somerset…I was never board; enjoyed hiking well over hundred miles and swimming in rivers and creeks. Amy is a fantastic host, quickly responding, kind, and helpful. Highly recommend!!!

Wonder, inviting accomodations!
We came to the area to be outdoors and enjoy the fall foliage. unfortunately it rained the entire time. We were so happy to be staying in such a nice condo. It was so cozy and comfortable. The vaulted ceilings in the main room gave it such an open, airy feeling. It was decorated very nicely and well equipped. We were happy to be able to take our small pup with us! The condo was located nearby to a winery, potatoe/apple store, and Seven Springs. We were also closeby to restaurants. We hope to come back and stay again. Thanks for sharing your lovely condo!

Cute place!
It was difficult to get the code for the key-it was sent via email and I did not have internet connection because I was in the parking lot of the condo. Maybe it could have been sent before we left home? Also, I would have liked to have known what kind of coffee pot was there-I ran out of coffee! Otherwise, nicely decorated and comfortable!

Sweltering, Cheap Furniture & Falling Apart
We arrived on an almost 90 degree day to find the property with all windows closed, no fans on and no AC on. The only AC was a portable unti with no way to vent out the hot air so any cool air that blew out the front was more than matched by incredibly hot air just flowing out the back. It never caught up, never got below 80 in the house. Uncomfortable is putting it lightly. Contacted the host and she said there were 3 portable fans and that it is hot in PA in the summer. Home was advertised to have a pool. The community pool was actually over a mile away, with no direction from the host how to get there, even when I text her and asked. We had to drive around blindly to find it. The pool required a pool pass, which the host was supposed to supply. She did not. When asked she said it "should probably be fine" if we tried to just sneak in and we "shouldn't get kicked out" if we didn't have a pass. The grill on the back deck was so full of grease, that the grease caught fire when trying to cook burgers. And right behind the grill in the fence was a large bees nest, so we had lots of bees outside with us when trying to eat. Of course, we had to eat outside because it was too hot to be in the house. The front "foyer" had so many random rugs thrown on it. We discovered this was because the entry was just sharp, broken concrete she was trying to cover up. The water pressure was very low and we could only get enough pressure to do dishes if we pulled the sprayer out and held it.)

Nice overall experience, good location, host very much on top of things. However, property could use some modernization. Room a/c units struggle to keep unit cool. Fire pit and deck were very nice touch, and, cleanliness and attention to essentials were on point. Would definitely come back here again!.
