The property was set a part from the tourist resort towns but still very close to several beaches and easy access to several restaurants. A car is needed if you’d like to explore the island but there are bicycles available to guests at no additional charge that can be used to travel to the nearby beaches. The staff are excellent and always ready to ensure that everything is to your satisfaction. The dinner options are limited and I do not recommend dinner at the property at all. Utilize the nearby restaurants.

Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff (especially Marc) My only concern is busy road that you need to walk on for about 5 min if you do not have a car.it's especially dangerous if you walk there during the night as there is no lights at all or pavement.

Hotel exactly as described in brochure
Room spacious as was bathroom. Both kept immaculately clean by friendly lady. The hotel staff appeared to enjoy working in this wonderful hotel, they always had a smile for you.The grounds are very well attended to. Although Cala Bona is only a short distance away it was as though you were deep in the countryside. You can hear horses, chickens and sheep. I loved walking around the grounds. Everything so peaceful even the birds seemed to be quiet! The manageress - Isabel - is a lovely lady. When I had a problem she just couldn't do enough for me. She was wonderful. Pity there are not more people like her.

We had a wonderful relaxing holiday. Loved the peaceful atmosphere, wonderful pool which was great for swimming with stunning views of mountains and sea. Staff were so helpful with every query. We will visit again.

Very quiet rural hotel for couples
Nice hotel and very good staff. The rooms, however, are not soundproofed and so you can hear conversations and movements from the rooms next door. The hotel has some bikes which you can use free of charge, which is great for a bit of exploring. The hotels is very quiet so you need to walk into town if you want some atmosphere. If you are travelling to this hotel you need to go by taxi or minibus. The coaches will not take you to the hotel (which the coach operators don't tell you). Overall an enjoyable stay and great if you just want to chill out during the day without any disturbances.

Quiet boutique hotel
On arrival we were delighted that the hotel was exactly like the photos we had seen. An elegant reception area with an outside room off it where you could enjoy drinks and also a light meal when required. The pool area was superb, never very busy. Breakfast was a lovely buffet where you can sit either inside or outside. The staff are excellent - nothing is too much trouble for them and they are very friendly too. Due to it being a small hotel all the guests greet each other which just adds to the lovely atmosphere. We will be returning.

Quiet hotel close to Cala Bona
Quiet hotel just outside Calla Bona. Harbour in Calla Bona is. 15 to 20 minute walk. Hotel is set in it's own gardens with stunning views. Breakfast is a good continental style breakfast. The hotel also offers a snack menu at lunchtime and in the evening. There excellent restaurants in Calla Bona, particularly the Sa Punta.

Peaceful son corb
Very peaceful place to use as our base for touring the island, great pool to relax at after some driving, don't like big hotels with all the fuss and noisy areas so son corb is just perfect. Plenty of eating places in Cala bona a short walk away.

Fantastic quiet location with lovely clean rooms and a relaxing pool atmosphere. Lovely food. Only comment was that there needs to be a fridge at least to keep water cold as the shops are a good 20walk and we wanted to keep drinks cold.

Oasis of calm
From the moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly and personally by the Hotel Manager. The check in was smooth and straight forward and hotel details and pool towels were shared freely and in a lovely friendly manner. We were assisted to our rooms which were lovely and we were not dissapointed by the size. The room was clean and spacious with a large bathroom area too. Our private terrace was perfect too. The pool was an oasis of calm with plenty of sun loungers and parasols for all. The pool side bar was always attended by friendly, smiley helpful staff and the food and drinks on offer were extremely refreshing and tasty. Our rooms were cleaned daily and our beds made too which was a lovely touch and the cleaners were equally friendly and kind too. The pool views were amazing. From one angle you could see a wide seaview and on the other the picturesque mountains, a third angle gave you a rural landscape providing you with you a strong sense of privacy and safety, whilst also being surrounded by the beauty of the island.This was most definitely a relaxing and peaceful romantic hotel ideal for couples and/or newly weds. A personal BIG THANK YOU to all of the Son Corb Boutique Hotel Team for making our stay so special. We will be back. :-) Cxxxx

Charming peaceful haven
A charming boutique property in rural surroundings with lovely grounds, a beautiful pool, lots of comfortable shady outdoor seating and an overall sense of calm. But only 10 minutes walk from the busy seafront resort of Cala Bona - so restaurants and bars within walking distance - if you're prepared to get down with the tourists and the noise! Sadly the hotel doesn't offer much in the way of a restaurant or dining. Breakfast is an ok buffet and the rest is a snack menu which you can order from at the pool bar or reception - if you can find someone to take the order! A shame because it would be a great asset and not only for in house guests but for others in the area to come for lunch or dinner to get away from the beach and the pizzerias!

Lovely hotel - hope to visit again
I very much enjoyed my stay at the Son Corb in July 2015. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, the bed very comfortable and having the individual semi private terraces for the rooms it a very nice feature. I would certainly go back. The points I really liked about the hotel were the friendly staff, the beautiful pool and the peacefulness of the setting, while still being within walking distance (10 - 15 minutes) to lively Cala Bona. The hotel does offer two bikes for the use of guests, but for any further exploration and to get there, I would recommend car hire for your stay. The hotel information is available in Spanish, English and German, however in my room I could only get two German and two Spanish channels on the TV. Given the limited wifi availability (hotel lobby only) catching news in English might be a little inconvenient during your stay. As much as I like the hotel, I haven't given excellent ratings throughout as there are a couple of things that could be a little better. My wish list includes safety boxes and minibars in the rooms. It would be nice to have more comprehensive general hotel info available in the room too. Staff are really friendly to talk to but sometimes not immediately available and if you would like info about availability of pool towels, restaurant recommendations, check out times etc. this would be handy. Also, it would be great to have citronella candles or some other insect repellent on the terrace for the evenings.

An Oasis of Peace and Tranquility
The Son Corb is a lovely little boutique hotel approximately 10 minutes walk outside of Cala Bona. It is close enough for a walk to the seaside promenade and small harbour, where there are loads of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes, but also far enough out of town to be totally peaceful and quiet. The buffet style breakfast is excellent, and the staff are great - they are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The swimming pool is fabulous and there is also a small shallow pool for young children, although they apparently do not often have children staying - there was only one child there when we were. I would say this is a place mainly for couples and perhaps business people.

Truly Relaxing Getaway
A place to relax and get away from it all; beautiful pool, friendly staff, quiet and understated. Feels miles away from anywhere yet only a few minutes away from shops and restaurants.
