The ground floor, which opens directly onto the terrace, has an open-plan kitchen/dining room with a stone fireplace. There is a dining table and chairs and a modern kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, oven, fridge/freezer and coffee machine. A modern staircase leads up to the first-floor living room, with a contemporary leather sofa and chest of drawers.
The courtyard outside the front door has a table and chair, where guests can relax and enjoy the stunning views out over the pretty village, forest and mountains beyond. There is also a small private garden where sun loungers and a beautiful vista down the valley.

Location
The cottage is in a quiet village, which retains all the charm of old Tincino, with stone houses and a charming church tower. Whilst the village remains untouched by time, there is an Albergo Diffuso nearby which serves tasty local cuisine. For shops and other amenities, the town of Tenero-Contra is just 20 minutes by car.
The city of Locarno on Lake Maggiore is 30 minutes away. Here guests can enjoy La Dolce Vita, with a Swiss touch. Bellinzona (40 minutes) is famous for its 3 medieval castles, which make up a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is a great day trip. For self-catering, Bellinzona’s weekly market (Saturday morning) is one of the best in the region.
Otherwise, guests are completely immersed in nature, and can explore the many hiking trails through the mountains and along the Verzasca valley by the river.
The closest international airport is Milan Malpensa 1 hour 55 minutes away by car.
