"We had a lovely couple of nights here. So quiet and relaxing, a true luxurious and romantic place. We had the lodge with the hot tub which had gorgeous views of the pond (number 17). Slight issue with horse flies when walking to and from the main area through the woods but they didn’t like insect repellent so that worked well. One slight downer was we didn’t get asked if we wanted to book tables for dinner in the evenings and one night was fully booked with what must have been non resident...

"The door to the room creaked and did not close easily. It was unclear whether it actually locked.The mirror was cracked. The shower fittings were broken. The toilet seat was broken and only the short flush worked. The shower soap dispenser lid was missing. One of the lights just glowed.
