The room was absolutely gorgeous, clean, and huge compared to all the other stays we had in Italy. All accomodations were met and Guiseppe was very helpful and kind. Room was warm, inviting, and the bathroom stunned. The view from the second floor was also impressive.
Absolutely loved our stay here. It was conveniently located, extremely clean, very spacious and had everything we needed. Host was extremely responsive and made our stay very pleasant. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Book it while it's available!
Great location, comfortable room with kitchen and dining area, and responsive communication. No elevator (bags up two flights) but overall an excellent stay within 10 minutes of most places. You’ll need to contact them with your arrival time to arrange the check-in as there’s no front desk.
Location was great: short walk from the station, and to many scenic places and good restaurants. Room was clean and well equipped. Owner was super kind and understanding; very detailed instructions for check-in, and responses to any questions were fast. They gave great recommendations for all different kinds of food in the area. Overall a wonderful stay!
Perfect Sorrento location, close to everything but not in the old town mad zone.
The room is in great condition, comfortable furniture, everything as advertised.
Be sure to get in touch before arriving, as there is no front desk.
We loved our stay here. It is located in a central station, a few mins away from everything.
Mariangela was responsive and very helpful. She provided some tips for restaurants, events, buses and ferries and they were all spot on!
The room was very clean and nice. If you require accessibility the room is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator.
We would definitely stay here again.
We had the most beautiful airy apartment with views of lemon trees below! The location was excellent. Only problem was it was a bit hard to find since there was just a tiny label close to the door. It would have been beneficial if we had known that.
Had a fantastic stay here. Our rooms were beautiful-recently renovated, clean, nicely decorated, and spacious. The location is an easy walk away from central Sorrento and the train and bus station. The walk to the Port is not bad either (but includes quite a few steep sets of stairs). Our host Mariangela was super helpful getting us checked in and making travel and dining suggestions. The building is a walk up with no elevator and more of VRBO style accommodation than traditional hotel, but that was just fine for us.
Very close to Piazza Tasso. Within a few minutes walk to the restaurants and shops of Sorrento. Very cool old building with new updated utilities. Giuseppe was very attentive and helpful with anything we needed. Nice and quiet at night. I would recommend if staying in Sorrento.
I enjoyed my stay here. I booked the blue room that was extremely spacious. The one downside is that the bed is extremely hard and not very comfortable. There’s also a couch and a larger mini fridge which was useful. A few unknown stains on the couch. Very thorough communication by the owner. She arranged transportation for me from the hotel to the Naples train station upon departure. She gave me a tour of the grounds when I arrived and gave dining suggestions. She was always available no matter the time of day. She even sent me the bus routes and helped me navigate to my different excursions. Huge room and bathroom compared to other places in Rome. The housekeeper also assisted with luggage. There are about 3-4 flights of long, shallow stairs so it’s not suitable for any of those that have mobility issues. There is NO elevator which I knew when I booked. Overall 7.5/10 stay.
It’s quite difficult to find good value accommodation in Sorrento, so I was pleased to find this option. It’s located in a wing of a large imposing villa overlooking the town and at the moment they’ve done a small number of rooms. I was given one with direct views over the gorge and towards the sea, which was fantastic.
The room itself was simply furnished (it’s not luxury) but with quirky touches such as a piano and a traditional bureau. There is a small private terrace with two chairs and a table which was lovely to sit in the mornings and evenings. A (quiet running) fridge was ideal to keep drinks cool
The bed was very comfy (a firm memory foam type of mattress) and the a/c worked well
I loved the location which was only a short walk away from main town Square and all the restaurants. There is no reception, and you are met by the owner on check in. So returning each night makes you feel like your coming back to your own Château!
The owner of this property was very gracious and carried our very heavy luggage up to the second floor. There were 56 steps up and there is no elevator. Our room was convenient to everything in central Sorrento. This building was built in the year 1000 . The owner has renovated rooms and our room was lovely! The location is very quiet. I would recommend having available some coffee mugs and possibly a comfortable chair or two, even though there were two straight back chairs. Our host did provide us with two wine glasses :). I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this location, as it was stunning. It would not be appropriate for anyone who is unable to walk so many steps :)
Chose this property because of its location, sitting majestically atop of the lush valley of Vallone del Mulini, featuring the ruins of an ancient sawmill, 2 rivers & a variety of rare plants. Also steps away from the Piazza Tasso, gateway to many shops and restaurants. No front desk, so you must communicate with the host via WhatsApp. The main entryway you will need a primary key, then up a stone walkway to the building. Rooms are upstairs so there's a bit of a climb, and accessed by a card key. Clean surroundings, nice grounds back of the property, rooms comfortable WiFi needs help. A coffee maker in the room would have been nice, only tea and hot water. You get a bit of noise from the above street early morning if you leave your window open. Overall it was pleasant and unique.
What a fantastic property. Newly renovated rooms in a 1700 villa. Done up to a very high standard and it tried to have have modern facilities but with a nod to the old building, e.g. the lighting and bedframe. We had the room with a small kitchen and an extra corridor to sit and eat. Very spacious and clean with a view over the orange trees in the garden. One of the roads was very noisy if you left the window open but that is Italy for you and wasn't really an issue at all. We had a misunderstanding over our arrival time but that was dealt with very well and once we had exchange WhatsApp contacts, all communications ran smoothly.
The location is great too as it is a few minutes into the centre of Sorrento but also just a few minutes in the other direction if you want to find some less touristy and more affordable places to eat (up the hill). We would highly recommend Casa Enzina. Just be aware you will have a few steps to climb up and make sure to put your phone number with country code into your booking for best communication.
I had an amazing stay at Casa Enzina. Mariangela greeted me at the door when I arrived in town, even before the check in time. She and her staff were extremely helpful throughout my stay and went above and beyond.
The room was beautiful, with high ceilings and beautifully designed. The building is gorgeous, on top of the hill, very close walking distance to the main centre. Very clean. I will definitely be returning!
Absolutely incredible property and fantastic value for money! The location is great and the host is extremely helpful, providing lots of useful information upon our arrival. I would definitely recommend!!!
