We loved Sorrento and this hotel was in the perfect location for our stay. The staff service was excellent. The maid greeted us every morning when we left for breakfast with a smile and a friendly greeting and kept our room well. The room was spacious classic old-style Italian. My favorite part was the room balcony overlooking the Sea. The bathroom itself was very spacious but the shower/tub could use some updating for convenience of use. The breakfast choices were fresh and plentiful and the chef made my husband excellent omelets. The pool was well-maintained and relaxing. The servers by the pool and on the dock were wonderfully accommodating. I will definitely stay here again next time we visit.

A nice old grande dame resort; it is like a palace. Not very busy when we were there, near the end of the season. Nonetheless, good food and great service. Beautiful property.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel when my wife and I visited at the start of October 2024. Hotel is very Grand, and staff are very professional. Room was very comfortable. Great cliff side view and easy access to the town of Sorrento and its port. Would recommend, and cheaper than its immediate neighbours.

Great location, with fantastic views and close to all the dining and shopping action. The hotel is spacy, staff is friendly. It has recently been bought by new owners who will need to spend some money updating the rooms, but they were fine, and will be better after a facelift!

This property was exactly what was represented- huge room. Furniture quite dated- “antique-y”, the views from the suite were also as advertised. My biggest complaint is the shower- it was BEYOND tiny in a massive bathroom. Very hard for me to take a shower, I am just under 5’11” feet at 207lbs. I kinda dreaded using it. A contradiction really with all the space available. Housekeeping and the included breakfast was pretty good. Don’t really know why, but this seemed a high price for this room.

The bathrooms smelled Also the last day I was unable to get a room to shower after checking out when I was told there would be one At the pool I ordered my last glass of wine . They said they had no way to charge me it was a short pour with a cost less than charged me at checkout Then when I checked out they charged me more !! Not great service

Great property with many unique advantages. Excellent location - 10 minute walk from main square (quiet, nice area) and shopping/restaurants and 5 minutes from train station. Property features many unobstructed views of the Gulf of Naples/Vesuvius. Excellent patio with drink service and, on select evenings, live music. Property is elegant - it feels like you’re stepping back into the early 1900s…in a very good way. Beautiful and well-maintained lobby, bar, restaurant, and terrace. Junior suite with gulf view was large and comfortable. Entire property was very clean and comfortable. Concierge was very helpful and all servers, housekeeping, and all other staff were friendly and attentive. I regret I didn’t use the ‘beach’ (pier with lounge chairs and umbrellas) - definitely save some time to do so. Food was good and servers were excellent. A few elements look a little dated (select pieces of furniture or carpet), but they’ve worked hard to replace the elements that matter (s/a bath fixtures) and to maintain the loads of beautiful marble and woodwork. I definitely recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely gorgeous property in the center of Sorrento. Very very convenient to everything. We had a gorgeous view of the harbor. The room was spacious and had everything you would need. We had a cute little balcony with 2 chairs and a table. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. I definitely plan on coming back.
