The facilities are good for groups all ages. The owner has gone to great lengths to ensure guests' are comfortable. Communications were prompt and easy. "Lovely house in picturesque village. Every bedroom has en-suite so perfect for groups or large families. Nice size garden with bbq. The large town of Compiegne is only 25 min drive away with a train direct into Paris. Pierredonds is only 10 min drive with castle, lakes and the best value for money crazy golf game I’ve ever played. Loved staying here."

"It is a really nice place to stay, we loved the atmosphere and the trust the owners gave with their hospitality made us feel right at home ☺️ Our little one (2 years old) enjoyed feeding the neighbors chickens every evening and all the toys that were available! In the morning we would explore the area around Chacrise (such as Donjon de Septmonts and the Chemin des Dames route with the Caverne du Dragon or visit some of the Champagne houses near Reims) and in the afternoon were able to relax...

"I am a young woman solo vacationing from the U. S. and absolutely loved my stay here! I had trouble contacting a taxi for pickup and the owners were so kind to call one for me and make sure I got where I needed to go. The property is lovely and has everything needed for a pleasant stay. Turning the locks on the front door are a bit tricky, but I had no other issues. Highly recommend this area if you are visiting the nearby Chateau, and the village itself is very pleasant and safe. "

"We had 5 of us staying here for 10 nights. The property itself is a great size, so much room with all the amenities we needed. The garden was private and a great size for large groups. We couldn’t have wanted for better accommodation. It was an idea location for us driving between Reims and Paris for all the things we had organised. "

It has a modern, easy clean interior with quality furnishings, seating for 10 both indoor and out, pingpong table, large enclosed outdoor areas and space on driveway for a few cars. Hubert is a pleasant and very accommodating gentleman who stayed up until 2am to welcome us after an unexpected delay on the motorway and kindly adjusted our dates at the last minute notice to postpone...

"This Gite is one of our favorites and it was the second time we’ve stayed there. The owners are lovely and so accommodating. They provide more than you need for a comfortable vacation and true French experience. For all of you history buffs, it’s only one town over from Belleau a huge WWI site (battle of Belleau Bois). It’s so close to Paris however there’s no reason to go there since there’s so much to do in this region alone. You must have a car to enjoy but that’s true of the countryside....
