"The camper was nice and comfortable. The Island had a good breeze, so the mosquitos were almost non-existent, and the trees are tall and plentiful for shade and a good resting place for a bald eagle one morning we were there. We rented the owners fishing boat and it was very nice for checking out the the different islands and bays. Owner was very accommodating for making sure we had everything we needed and supplied multiple containers of gas and even ice in his own coolers, so we didn't have to...

"We loved how remote this place is. There were only a couple small oddities. The freezer section of the mini fridge needs a thaw and there wasn't a big pot for us to cook mac and cheese. Everything else was amazing and we both plan to return in the future. "

"A secluded property with a lodge with many games and activities. We were greeting warmly by Elise who offered to carry our bags upstairs. Bob was similarly helpful - asking If he could pick up something in town for us, and carrying dinner and plates downstairs when we chose to eat lakeside. I would definitely stay here again and hope to do so. Bears Den was quiet and well equipped with good cross ventilation."

"This place is great. We stayed in the lodge. This was are first time ever there. Clean rooms, pet friendly, great,lake views. They have kiaks you can use. Paddle boards. You can even rent boats for fishing. Bob and his family was great. Him and his wife brought firewood down every night so we could have bonfires. We will diffently be back this time renting a cabin with private bonfire. Grill, and access to private little beach front. Really a great place to take vacations "

"Reggie’s retreat was an amazing place to stay. The dog friendly touches like water bowls and poo bags were very much appreciated. Hiking trail in walking distance and close to Lake Vermilion where we fished a couple days. The rooms were pristine and the kitchen was great. Would highly recommend!"

"Great views from our room. Nice family run place. We stayed at end of seasons and was nice and quiet would definitely stay here again. Would bring fishing gear too. Great swimming lake. Has plenty of other fun activities like kayaking, paddle boarding, and mini golf. Nice fire pits on the lake shore too that made it a great time to relax at night. "

"We stayed for a long weekend in the fall, but the property is honestly so well set up for all seasons. Plenty of room and things to do for all ages. Traveled with two kids under 7. Gorgeous lot with lots to explore. Highly recommend! "

"There were 3 of us, and we had a great time, great weather, and enjoyed the time on Lake Vermilion. The cabin was very clean. Only suggestions are to let guests know that they have access to the dock; and the Wifi info in the messages/emails was incorrect, but we figured it out. "What a lovely place for a family getaway! Located near the beautiful area surrounding lake vermilion. this lakeside cabin was the ideal spot for us to spend a long weekend with our two girls. We spent 3 days of hiking, visiting the international Wolf center, and just enjoying the small towns in the area. "We had a wonderful stay at this property. Roy and Denise were very friendly and helpful. We used the pontoon a couple of days and it was in excellent condition.
