"The rooms were so beautiful - we stayed in Bibi and it was divine, from the oval white plaster ceiling with Arabic calligraphy, to the en suite bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic with great variety and the staff was really nice. "

"This property has a very accommodating host and it is exceptionally clean. Everyone working here is extremely helpful and kind. Dar Ben Gacem is beautiful, with rooftop views and amazing tile and architecture throughout. There are many areas to relax and enjoy the ambience. The breakfast has delicious food and an outstanding chef. If you need anything, they are always there to help. Another way they accommodate guest is by speaking English, Arabic and French.
I highly recommend this establishment, we will most definitely return. "
"Absolutely Amazing Stay at Dar El Jeld Hotel and Spa
Our stay at Dar El Jeld was nothing short of exceptional. The suite was perfect—so beautifully designed and comfortable that we genuinely didn’t want to leave the hotel. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, creating an atmosphere of elegance and tranquility.
The staff were an absolute delight: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. Their hospitality made our stay even more special.
Dar El Jeld is the ideal place for anyone wanting to experience the heart of Tunis in a stunning and serene setting. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and will absolutely be recommending it to others. Can’t wait to return!"
"The police were heavy on the streets with machine guns. If you went out after dark to get dinner there were drunk people and people fighting in the streets... men would expose themself and urinate not caring who could see
The hotels facilities were filthy the bed had bed bugs and my husband was all bit up. The breakfast that was supposed to be included never existed. I feel lucky to be alive and out of that place!"
