Nice hotel and location but some repairs needed

Nice hotel but some rooms need repairs. Gym is very old and some equipment is unsafe. Nice variety of food. Drinks are low quality.

A great value, all inclusive option, on the beach

The only thing wrong (very minor) with our Superior Sea View room was it was too low down to maximize the view (we were on Floor 1) otherwise excellent. The buffet, and drinks, were fresh, plentiful with a good range of choice - all in all excellent value.

Good potential but currently not great

Lots of potential. Impressive entrance, but tired corridors. Good breakfast. Let down by general condition. We requested two rooms together but they claimed that the hotel was full and so they couldn't accommodate this. Then there was a power cut in the middle of the night to one room and corridor, leading to complete and total darkness. This couldn't be resolved and so they (eventually, after our three times going down to speak to the staff) agreed to move us to another room, which happened to be nearer to the other room (and so the hotel was obviously not full as they had claimed). Then in the morning there was another power cut, this time affecting both rooms. There was no air conditioning or the air conditioning was not working in either room. Had to keep the balcony door open due to the excessive heat in the room, which led to insects coming in.

Better than expected

Large and rather generic hotel - it feels more like a typical business hotel. That said, the pool and beach areas are nice, the room was spacious, modern and comfortable. Bathroom could use a bit of renovation, but cleanliness was very good in general. Noise insulation could be better. Drinks were decent but nothing spectacular, food was varied and surprisingly good! Overall, very good value for money, definitely recommended.

The property and the staff were pretty good but the security guard at the front gate harassed and made fun of my fiancée when she went to pick me up with her sister. I demanded an apology and got none.
