"I wouldn't say they are pet friendly. While pets are allowed to stay there was no place for them to go potty. Thought that was odd. "

"Slight sewage type odor present in room and casino. Shower nozzle spray pattern very weak. Fridge/safe layout bad. Need microwaves in rooms. "

"Room above ours had creaky floors so any walking above is clearly heard. No housekeeping ever came in our room. Toilet tank leaked into the toilet bowl. No provisions to make coffee in the am. No refrigerator. Was quiet except for the above floor noise."

"The room was older but cozy and clean. It was perfect for our quick trip to Death Valley for the pup fish and superbloom. Staff was wonderfully nice and helpful."

"This hotel was great! It is close to death valley with a lot less traffic. The only bummer was the pool and hot tub are at another hotel, just on the other side of the gas station which is between the 2 properties, and they are outside. A bit chilly when it is 54 in the am. The front desk was very friendly. We could not hear the traffic which is right outside the door, great sleeping. Have 2 pots of coffee going, we had to wait both days. But we would stay here again in a heartbeat!! The VFW has great food!!"

"Property is a bit dated but is clean enough. AC is a bit loud. Hot breakfast with waffle maker is great. The gentlemen at dining hall, Bob, is wonderful and very attentive. "
