This remodeled home on the Rio Grande River offers quiet comfort all year round. This section of the Rio Grande River is "gold medal water," with some of the best trout fishing in the state. Creede is only about 20 miles away, a wonderful, historic town with shops, restaurants, museums, and live theater shows. You'll also be less than 20 miles from the Wolf Creek Ski area, which boasts the most powder in Colorado.

Speaking of snow, this home has a two-car garage, so you won't have to remove the snowfall from your vehicle before heading to the slopes. You'll enjoy burnished floors, a propane fireplace, and comfortable furniture inside. The stainless steel appliances and gorgeous cookware of the full kitchen will make tonight's meal a joy to prepare. The telescope will make it easy to appreciate the beautiful, clear skies.

This was our 4th trip to South Fork. This cabin is by fair the best one we have ever stayed in. Loved being right on the river. There was a lot of corn hole played as well.

Clean House on the Rio Grande
The property was very clean and comfortable in the common areas and upstairs. The property outside was clean and well maintained. It should be noted that there is no full bathroom or bedroom downstairs. There is a half bath downstairs, and a bunk bed room. The master bedroom, and all showers are upstairs. Overall we had a great time.

Great South Fork Getaway!
The house was everything that we hoped it would be - beautiful home, amazing location, steps out the back door to the Rio Grande, and well-kept and well-appointed. Diana was amazing and responsive with information for us on all types of questions, including who to call for insider/local tips on great fishing! Definitely will be our go-to rental for trips to Sand Dunes and the South Fork area!

Great stay!
The property is very clean and orderly. The property is closer to the river than what the photos suggest. We grilled out every night and then sat around the fire pit after dinner. The sound of the river was great. It’s a great property and we really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend to others.

Cabin fun with friends
We spent a great weekend at this cabin. We had three couples and the cabin was the perfect size to accommodate all of us. The cabin was beautiful and right on the river. The property manager Diana was super helpful and immediately accessible for any questions. We had deer come to the river in the evenings and we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit too. I would definitely book this property again! Many thanks to the owners of this beautiful home and to Diana for making our stay memorable!

A couple details…
Could use the screens removed and cleaned. The same cobwebs were in the windows that were there last year only worse. Windows also need a cleaning inside/out. Windows won’t stay open on own. Wes adjustments. Had to prop them with books. House gets warm with no ac. Light switch in Master Bed has a short. Shocked one of us when tried to adjust the light. Last zone of sprinkler system under deck has a huge leak. Sticks for adjusting blinds are missing/broken. Some of the lights in living room don’t work. Other than these the place was great.
