"When we arrived at the airport, we called for the shuttle and were told it would come in 30mins, max 40 mins. After an hour, we called again, and were told they would message the driver again. It never came. We ended up getting an uber to the hotel after waiting an hour and a half (that cost us $30 for a 5 min ride). Upon arriving at the hotel and telling the front staff the shuttle never came, their response was “okay…”. No apology, no explanation. It seemed like this happened a lot. Then when we got to our room, there was no hand soap. We asked for some soap and were told they had run out… so they gave us a bottle of shampoo to use as hand soap. (What hotel runs out of soap??!). There was also no tissues in the tissue box.
My sister’s room was just as bad… maybe worse… they didn’t have body wash in the shower either…. And there was pee in the toilet (was the room cleaned??!!).
I would not stay here again. The only thing this hotel has going for it, is its location to the cruise terminal. But the Crown Plaza is literally next door…. Stay there instead!! We saw about 5 or 6 Crown Plaza shuttles come by in the time we were waiting for the Aloft shuttle. If we had known the Crown Plaza was next door, we would have hopped on their shuttle.
WOULD NOT STAY HERE EVER AGAIN.
