Indoor Description
The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, an under-counter fridge and under-counter freezer. Other equipment includes toaster, kettle, a variety of cookware, kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses.
The utility area is accessed externally from the kitchen and has a washing machine and toilet.
The dining area can comfortably seat four at the table, and has an impressive inglenook fireplace with wood-burner, and there is another wood-burner in the living room along with along with plenty of comfortable seating. There is a TV in both the dining and living rooms too. Wifi is available.
Both bedrooms are upstairs, one has a king-size bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. Completing the accommodation upstairs is a family bathroom with a shower cubicle and a freestanding bath with a shower head attachment, and a separate toilet and sink next door.
Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips.
Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of the accommodation. Sunnyside benefits from oil-fired central heating throughout. The temperature can be adjusted to suit your preferences if required. A basket of logs, some kindling and matches will be provided for the wood-burner in the cooler months.
Outdoor Description
The enclosed front garden has a patio and sitting-out area including garden furniture.
The village of North Molton has a welcoming pub, just 2 minutes from Sunnyside, and it is possible to buy essentials (milk, bread, etc) from the pub during opening hours. The community is working hard to reinstate the village shop, but it is presently not open.
There are a network of countryside footpaths nearby. The market town of South Molton is three miles away, where two markets are held in the historic pannier market each week and has a supermarket, independent shops, numerous cafés and pubs to choose from.
The wide open spaces of Exmoor National Park are within easy reach as well as the dramatic coastline of North Devon and the beautiful sandy beaches of Croyde, Woolacombe, Saunton and Instow. Perfectly located for adventures in the South Molton and Exmoor area, Sunnyside is an ideal location for a family or couples at any time of the year.
Parking
There is parking for two cars on the drive outside the property, inside the garden gates.
Pets Description
Well behaved dogs welcome for £10 per dog, per night. Maximum of two dogs per booking and they must be kept downstairs and not allowed on the furniture. Thanks for your cooperation.
The owner may consider 3 small dogs upon request, please contact us with the size/breeds of your dogs and we will happily check this for you.

The region
North Molton is a village in North Devon and sits just outside the boundary of Exmoor National Park. Until the 18th century the village was an important centre of the woollen industry, and mining was also a significant employer in the parish until the 19th century.
North Molton has a village pub with excellent food and is dog friendly. Please support our local traders.
Exmoor provides a great base for walking, cycling and exploring. There are miles of walking routes and many pretty villages to sightsee. There are also opportunities to ride, to play golf at the famous Saunton Sands Golf Course or to visit a number of outstanding gardens such as those at Marwood, Castle Hill Estate and RHS Rosemoor. North Molton is within easy reach of the famous Tarr Steps, The Chains - a wonderful place for the experienced walker, the Tarka Trail, the North Devon coastal path. The north coast from Minehead through Porlock and Lynton to Woody Bay and the Valley of the Rocks are some of the most stunning scenery in Britain boasting the highest cliffs. The beaches at Saunton and Croyde are not far away (approx 45 mins by car).
South Molton, the nearest town, is just 3 miles away and has a local market on Thursday and a farmers market on Saturday. Barnstaple, North Devon’s main market town, with its famous Pannier Market and Butchers Row – excellent for both meat and locally caught fish, is within easy reach and offers a range of shopping facilities and other activities.
