"Wonderful staff. Room was a bit dated and older. One has to step in and out of a bathtub for a shower. Room where I was is noisy. Apparently the nearby room ending with 01 on each floor is a corner suite which attracts a bigger part of guests than a bigger army of workers. AVOID being near 01 on every floor!"

"While the building has a bit of patina it does have charm. The staff makes one feel welcome. I prefer it to international style hotels where you could anywhere rather than somewhere. I felt somewhere."

Make sure you don't get conned by the Optometrist they have waiting in reception - we had come down to meet our local guide and thought was him only to be told by our actual guide that Hotel Staff would not let them wait in reception for us - bizarre but we had a great day tour. Laundry is super cheap"

"The hotel is very old, but it is very clean and it is in a very good conditions look like new. Room is clean. very good size bed is comfortable a lot of things to do around the area in walking distant 5 to 10 minutes. You can be in the middle of everything."

The staff is exceptional and when I told them about my severer seafood allergy they took excellent care to make me feel comfortable with the food. The bathrooms are luxurious and it felt like an oasis from the chaos of Mumbai. The fact that you can walk and see sunset on the Bay is an added Bonus"
