Spacious 2BR/2BA condo with fully equipped kitchen. Conveniently located a few steps to the pool and a quick 3 min walk to the beach. The walk is also a very pleasant one since you go through beautiful green gardens and pass by the pools. The beach deck is amazing! Its large and you can relax for hours and hours, tan, read, work or simply stare at the endless ocean

Sometimes we need to get away for a bit to feel energized and relaxed again. A change in scenery is a great way to do so, specially if it’s on the beach! This impeccable condo is the perfect home to enjoy with your loved ones. Enjoy waking up to a cup of coffee in your perfectly large balcony surrounded by beautiful green gardens, palm trees and the view of a crystal-clear large pool.

Another perk is that when you feel like going for a swim you are only seconds away from one of the pools and only a quick 3 min walk to the beach. This is one of the largest properties on the island, so the density is low making it exclusive and private. Your walk to the beach will be very pleasant, inside the property while enjoying the walking trails. The property offers many amenities such as two large pools, two hot tubs, tennis courts, playground, walking trails, a spectacular beach deck and more. The beach deck is a fabulous spot, not quite on the beach but as if you were, and you can relax for hours while you work, tan, read, or simply be. Walk two seconds further and you are touching the white sand and off to the ocean.

This spacious condo has a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, so pack light and without the worry. It is also equipped with a breakfast bar, a great dinning space, a large living room and each bedroom has its own TV.

•    This is a pet friendly unit. If you plan to bring a pet, please be sure that you selected the option. You are allowed to bring up to 2 small family dogs or cats. 
•    Rental includes two parking permits. Additional temporary parking permit may be purchased on site for an additional fee. Boats and trailers are allowed into the property for an extra fee. No R.V.'s or motor homes will be allowed on property.
•    BBQ Grills: Available in the designated “Palenque” area. Perfect for a lovely outdoor meal with family or friends. 2 Burner BBQ Grill: $40.00 and 4 Burner BBQ Grill: $50.00
•    Our rental properties are family oriented. Good behavior is expected from our guests, respect for property rules and other guests. No parties allowed. Minimum age to rent is 21 and must be present during the entire stay.

Dirty Stay
Has multiple people with communication and several forms to be filled before stay. Check in was stressful since we got there late and still had to fill more forms and wear bracelets for each of us making it uncomfortable since the attendant made us write the wrist numbers on one of the forms filling out. I have a special needs son over 18 and made him uneasy to wear bracelet. Beds were dirty with what it looks like pet hair and sheets were not washed.

Great!
Stayed for spring break with a group of girls. Was a quiet resort with very respectful guests. Condo looked like the photos. Only complaints is the beds aren’t very comfy and bad water pressure. But other than that a great experience and would stay again.

A building was being torn down, just across the swimming pool from us. Jackhammers, sledge hammers, heavy equipment, running all day long. The noise was absolutely unbearable so we could not spend any time during the day in the condo. That made it difficult for us as we are 75 years old and really needed to rest from time to time.

Nice place but there were no windows in the secondary bedroom. The unit needed a cleaning; the bathrooms were clean and the bedding was fresh but the door/walls/vents were dirty. I am glad I packed my Clorox wipes.

Perfect pet friendly condo for our first visit to SPI. The condo had everything we needed for our five day stay. Steps to the pool and a short walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property
Very nice condo, we had easy access to pool or beach. Host provided towels and everything was very clean. The property is older but condo has been redone beautifully. We did have a closet door that was off the hinges and were told someone was coming to fix but no one came while we were there. We had come in for a fishing tournament at the convention center so this place was a great location. Highly recommend to anyone, especially if you have pets. Loved it and will come back.

Wonderful experience
We are very satisfied with our stay and will hopefully come back next year. The property was exactly as advertised and clean. Our dogs enjoyed all of the open areas and staff was very nice. We would recommend this to anyone interested in a nice visit to South Padre Island.

Great Place and Location
Great condo with nice furniture. Really conveniently located to the pools and beach. Nice paved walk through the resort gardens to get to the beach access. Negatives: Gym access is only available to hotel residents, not for condo residents. Grills are only available at a $40 rental fee per day. My family and I enjoy grilling on holiday but at that rate we'd rather go eat out. The condo was very dusty when we arrived, and it needs more (and newer) pots & pans and a few utensils eg: a spatula. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

The resort (not the unit) was on the beach. Beautiful grounds and interior. (The exterior doesn’t do it justice- a coat of paint on the exterior would go a long way). We rented because it was dog-friendly. I think you’d be hard-pressed to find a better dog-friendly place. It was generally clean, but needs better attention to detail (e.g., there was hair from a previous guest, particularly in kids bath-so much so that my 20 y.o. son got out the broom and swept the entire place; there was a toy piece behind the faucet in the master bath which wouldn’t be there if it was wiped down). The worst part of the stay was the neighbors above us the first 2 out of 3 nights. Partying past 2:00am (and no-they were not college students on Spring Break). We went there for R&R and it was more of a beating. Maybe limit rooms to 4 adults plus kids (instead of 6 adults)? With the tile floors and thin ceiling, the noise just reverberated…Overall, though, the resort is a nice family-friendly place. We just had bad luck.

The condo was very nice and short walking distance to pools and beach. The only thing was cooking pans were old and small, we ended up buying a larger fry pan at HEB for cooking breakfast. The TV remote in the living roon did not work, but was able to use one from the bedroom for it.

everybody has to wear a plastic bracelet can be a little irritating. no keypad lock, you get 2 keys and if you lose 1 they want 25$ for it. a little hassle getting to beach. over all we enjoyed are stay

Excellent Pet Friendly Condo
We love staying at Bahia Mar. It is a perfect private beach access property. The two pools are big enough that you can swim around without invading other’s space. The hot tubs are the best especially during the November month when we usually stay. What we really appreciate the most about the property is that we can travel with our fur baby. Other fur parents are respectful with picking up after their pets as well. So all-in-all, we love the property which os why we always return.

A Return To Bahia Mar
Our second time at this property. A different unit this time. Totally remodeled interior. Very Clean. 2 pools. Right on the beach. Canopy + Chair rentals from the front desk beats luging your own to the beach. Super awesome that they take pets. Rocky was glad to be with family. Pet-Poop-Stations with bags provide is a big bonus. Fireworks Friday and Saturday night on the island, one show a couple of properties over and viewed from our balcony! Price was a bit higher than previous years but we enjoyed our stay. Management and grounds were good. The most exceptional St Augustine grass for kids to play on. Access to property via front gate and guard shack. Wrist bands prevent hobos from entering the property from the beach. Hope to see you again soon. Recommend eating at the smaller mom & pop restaurants than long waits at the larger restaurants. Dirty Al's is a must.

This condo has everything you’ll need. First the gentleman at the gate made check-in so easy. He explained anything to us, so helpful. Everyone is so nice. The Property is so clean. Our condo was perfect for us. They keep these condos super clean.
