"Despite being almost “in town”, this place looks over beautiful trees and has a lovely view - until the mist rolls in to create a mysterious and beautiful aura around the house. Some wonderful walks nearby (especially glow worm glen) and magnificent local scenery. Ann was friendly but gave us great privacy."

"We chose this property as a farm stay and we had an event at K Ranch in Mount Hunter which was a 20 min drive away. Beautiful cottage. We woke up to a cure of cows eating grass nearby. It’s a quiet location, with fireplace and fire pit. The nights get colder here than in the city. We enjoyed the place very much. Thank you. "

"very quiet. Pretty garden. It was a bit cool inside as it’s winter now. Only one oil heater. It’s marketed as passive solar fit ceiling is vey high so sun effect on cold tiles was minimal . I stayed for 7 days but will try something different next time. Very good winery up a quiet road. Walkable but closes at 5pm"

The owner is very friendly and the check in process was easy. We especially loved the surrounding trees and greenery. We could open up the house and let the fresh breeze put us to sleep at night. The kitchen is the perfect size and comes with a big enough fridge, great stove/oven and utensils. The shower has a great pressure and instant warm water. The bed is very comfortable and comes with plenty of pillows. It is very clean and has plenty of windows to let the sunlight in. Very peaceful and safe. It is at a walkable distance from the train...
