"Our room was very comfortable, though the view wasn’t great as it overlooked the restaurant. However, this was more than made up for by the lounge area—a quirky hidden gem! It was a nice space to relax, though it felt a bit eerie since we seemed to be the only ones using it, despite the inn being full. The staff were helpful and kind, and we received a warm welcome from Scott, which set a nice tone for our stay. The breakfast server (unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name) was also great—very friendly and made our mornings more enjoyable. That said, the food was quite expensive, and there were very few vegetarian options, which was disappointing. The lounge bar could have been open more often, and it would have been nice if they served beer. Overall, a good stay with a few small improvements that could make it even better!"

"We had a lovely stay at the loch long hotel. The room was clean and comfortable with a good sized bathroom. "

"I stayed in the Rosslea as I was attending a business meeting the next day. Firstly I was on the 3rd floor and there is no lift so if you have mobility issues could be an issue. The room itself was adequate but would benefit from a revamp. The tv was ancient but perfectly useable. The bed was 2 pushed together so was a little strange when sleeping. The breakfast was really good and was included with the stay. Overall I had a pleasant stay."

"The hotel is minutes walking distance from the train station and the view down is idyllic itself looking towards the water. The check in was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful asked us if we would like to book our meal in the restaurant and although we were also told when breakfast was, I liked that everything you’d need to know was also on the key ring to your room. The room was spacious, the view was amazing from either windows and the shower was exceptional. The bed was so comfy and the coffee machine is a nice touch. I also love that the shampoo, conditioner and soaps are all scottish made and all natural. The extras of the dental kit (toothbrush and toothpaste) and shaving kit(shaving gel and razor) was a nice suprise. The breakfast was excellent, there was a lot of great choices available and the fruit tasted fresh. The bar area is also a nice place to have drinks or something to eat as it’s relaxing and full of character and charm. "
