"The house was everything i wanted but not so accesible to the train station, closer to the bus station but kinda hard to figure bus rides for me. I would stay here again esp if i was with a group, it makes tou really fell like youre in Kyoto, my favorite part is the ofuro, the bath on its own is so great and the jap garden."

"We were excited to stay at such a beautiful home, but became increasingly disappointed as we found one thing after another missing or broken. The bathroom sink faucet wouldn't run. Neither tub was usable. The sauna light was burned out. The pillows with the futons didn't have pillow cases. "I had an incredibly memorable stay at this property! The owner checked us in at our designated time and was very friendly, helpful and informative. The home itself was beautiful, spacious and clean. I enjoyed the tea set that was put for us to try. I felt so relaxed at this place. The location of this property is a 3 min walk from bus stops and right next to the famous sight spots of Kyoto. I highly recommend staying at this place if you visit Kyoto! "

"This was a good stay! Only issues my friends and I had was that it was a small location, ideal for two people obviously squeezing a third person was like playing Tetris with the Futons and the floor space. Another issue was that the futons were stained with something and considering one of my friends is pretty much germaphobic she didn’t really enjoy that aspect of the stay. Other than that great place, staff was courteous. And the places to walk to was plentiful!"

"Fantastic apartment-style room. We (2 adults, 2 kids - 8&10) had lots of space. The kitchenette allowed us to make our own beeakfast most days. The hotel had small appliances that we could borrow such as toaster and rice cooker. Laundry on site was quick and efficient. We could not have asked for a better hotel. The location was not ideal in that it was not very close to much of the shopping areas (eg. Nishiki market is about a 15-20 min walk). There is a grocery store across the street as well...
