Flying Mountain Apartment is a walkout ground level/basement apartment located in a family home in a wooded neighborhood of Southwest Harbor. You'll have the entire walkout basement to yourself, and your hosts will be available onsite to answer questions or help with planning your stay as you'd like.

Your private entrance to the apartment brings you into the fully-equipped eat-in kitchen that seats up to 4 people. This light-filled space has big windows on two walls, which makes it feel much less like a basement. To your left as you enter the apartment, is a bedroom and/or living room, depending on your needs. It features a queen-sized pull out couch, a couple cozy armchairs, and a media center complete with a TV set up with Netflix and Hulu. Walking down the central hallway takes you to a bedroom on your right and the bathroom on your left. The bedroom has a comfy queen-sized bed and two dressers for lots of storage space. The bathroom has both a shower and bathtub. We want you to feel at home in the space!

You'll also have access to the wooded backyard, which includes a picnic table for outdoor dining and a fire pit for night time hangouts. We also have a platform in the woods for a tent, if you have the desire to sleep among the pines! You can walk to trails, a swimmable beach, a golf course and to town from the house (and we're happy to give walking directions if you'd like).
