Top Spanish Village Art Center Hotel Reviews
The Beau Downtown San Diego Gaslamp Quar
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was clean and convenient to the Convention Center (the purpose of my visit was to attend Comic-Con), the staff were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and nice! The food at the restaurant was delicious! The rates were more than reasonable, especially considering that it was Comic-Con. The only things I could wish for that weren’t there would be a chair or two in the room and an elevator in the hotel. (My mobility is much reduced these days.) Just know that there is no elevator before making your reservation, and if you don’t absolutely NEED an elevator, book your stay here. You will enjoy it immensely!"
"Came for girlfriend's birthday and was one of the best stays we have ever had. Room was beautiful and clean, property was gorgeous, staff was very kind and helpful, and the dining options on-site were amazing snd surprisingly affordable. My personal favorite aspect was easily Beginner's diner's banana pudding French toast. As a diner and French toast fan, it was exactly what I was looking for. Make sure to get to the pool early to get a chair if thats your plan for the day. Check-in and check-out was incredibly easy and stress-free. Highly recommend for any occasion or just a simple overnight stay!"
"This hotel experience was exceptional because of the staff (thanks Pamela!) and care they took to ensure our stay was the best possible. I was there for Comic-Con and through the chaos we had a shuttle that ran every 15-20 minutes, a room with comfortable pillows and a view of the pool, reasonable parking and really great coffee. The room was fine, older but comfortable. My one complaint is the coffee was not great and no fresh half and half! But other than that, I was beyond impressed with the staff and the experience. "
