"The house is not what we were expecting after looking at the photos. The house is historic, but it needs a lot of updating and has a very dark, old feeling. Bugs were found in the kitchen, front bedroom, and bathroom including small roaches, spiders, and stink bugs. The mattress in the front bedroom is an old spring mattress and very uncomfortable. Stink bugs and spiders were in the front bedroom. The kitchen supplies were old and outdated, and we saw small roaches crawling around. The den couch...

"Our stay at the cottage was excellent. Everything was very clean and modern. The host provided plenty of clean towels which isn't always a given at many places. All of the amenities were great. We stayed at this location to see several waterfalls and hike Brady (bluff) Mountain. It was a huge success. Shout out to Rise & Shine Cafe in Sparta for a perfect 5-star, inexpensive breakfast. "

"We loved this house! The view was wonderful and the house was very clean and spacious. My children loved the basement game room and we all loved the hot tub and fire pit. My favorite thing was sitting on the deck and watching the view of the lake and the deer that came into the yard everyday. This property was very peaceful and perfect for our family vacation. "We visited this cabin for my husband’s 40th birthday. 30 minutes from the cabin, our car broke down on the side of the interstate. "The cabin had everything you would need. The creek was pretty. We slept a lot as we wanted peaceful and quiet with no disturbances. The fall leaves were just starting to change, and I know it would be really pretty. "Some of our family decided to camp out at fall creek falls and me and my wife tagged along but she didnt want to sleep in a tent so I found this lodge for us to stay at which was only about 5 miles from the Fall creek falls campsite. The owner provided excellent communication and we really enjoyed our time there. The place was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again."
