"This property is designed to provide an experience closer to Dubai heritage and because of that the room is decorated with elements that are not so sympathetic to modern comforts. This is the case of light switches or phone not in the bedside table -but in the wall. In general it feels very healthy to sleep in these rooms without carpets and to be able to open the windows. This hotel is based in experiencing the past and it gets it beautifully. Not to mention proximity to the subway (10mi walk)...

"The most unique about this hotel is in individual water purifying system in each room. Very environment-freely, no need to go our your room for refill. Very friendly staff! I wish the rooms are sound-proofed though. I was on the fifth floor and I can still here the noise outside. The restaurants in the hotel are also very pricey.
