A fantastic stay!

Very nice relaxing appartment

We really enjoyed our stay in this very nice and relaxing appartment. The Pool ist great. The host was also very nice and even provided some local food (cheese and ham) and beverages for the first day. He speaks fluently english. We can only recommend staying here.

Great base for exploring the area

Spiro was available all the time for questions about places to go, restaurants etc He checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable

Great base for Split, Trogir and the area

Simple, clean accommodation with a great pool. Friends advised us not to stay in Split and this was a great choice. Property is smoker friendly, we had a problem with the a/c but Spiro resolved same day. Would return if in the area.

Stunning apartment in beautiful location

We had a fantastic week here. Spiro was so welcoming and was so thoughtful in preparing some food and drink for us after a long journey. The apartment is very well appointed and the terrace with pool, hot tub, BBQ and covered eating area was just lovely. This was a true gem of a place to stay. The views from the apartment are stunning and the sunsets were spectacular from the terrace. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Top appartement

We had a top vacation in this property. Swimmingpool and jacuzzi were cleaned every morning by the owner. We also received some vegetables from the garden and no questions was to much for Stiro. We certainly recommend a stay in this property.

Perfect family stay

We had such a relaxing stay at this beautiful property. The views are stunning and we loved being away from the “hustle and bustle” of the main towns but still within easy access of them by car. The apartment had plenty of space and was very well equipped with everything we needed. Spiro was extremely welcoming and hospitable, he stocked the fridge with lots for us to enjoy! He also cleaned our pool every morning, before we were awake so it was very inviting when we stepped outside onto the terrace. He gave us lots of recommendations for places to visit which was really helpful and in general he was just so lovely. It was a perfect stay for me, my husband and my 2.5 year old. Thank you!

An amazing place to stay. Superb!!

We had a wonderful week in Spiro's villa. We had a very warm welcome, including wine, bread, cheese and a ham platter. Spiro also said we could pick produce from the family's garden including figs, tomatoes and cucumbers - a really nice gesture. The swimming pool, hot tub and outside area was superb - spacious and with lovely views. They were the perfect hosts: friendly but not intrusive. Spiro, gave us suggestions on where we could visit including beeches, markets and restaurant suggestions. This was a very relaxing and pleasant place to stay and only 25 minutes from central Split. Perfect accommodation and hosts and very clean and tidy inside and out. We would highly recommend Spiro's villa it has everything you need. Thanks Leon & Nicola.

Very nice holiday home with swimming pool and jacuzzi in the mountains!

Very good! Spiro is a great host! a stocked refrigerator upon arrival 👌 and we were allowed to enjoy unlimited house wine 👍 everything is very neat and clean. a very spacious stay. temperature was pleasant. The house has shutters all around. We didn't even have the air conditioning on all the time. Breakfast outside under the canopy every day. and a large BBQ for the evening. Split and Omis nearby. We even went from Omis to Makarska Riviera for a day with scooters, beautiful! we had a good stay. Spiro's parents live above it. We were not bothered by that, we had more than enough privacy in the house. in short, highly recommended. Who wants to enjoy a house with a swimming pool and Jacuzzi in Croatia!

Stunning property in the perfect location

We spent a wonderful 2 weeks at Stela apartment and couldn't recommend it more highly. It is spacious, perfectly clean and very well equipped. The setting is stunning and the swimming pool is luxurious with the beautiful view whether the sun is just rising or setting. The owner, Spiro, was keen to ensure our holiday was enjoyable and helpfully recommended restaurants and amenities. We were encouraged to pick the delicious vegetables from the garden and were supplied almost daily with fresh figs. He and his wife even took us for a day trip to a nearby island by boat - a wonderful day out that we'll always remember. There is plenty to do nearby with great beaches around Omis (Nemira was a favourite), the historic towns of Split and Trogir and Krka National Park within easy reach. Rafting on the Cetina River provided some adventure for our teenagers. The mountain setting and links to a local family provide an opportunity to step away from the tourist trail and get to know a little bit more about Croatia.

The best equipped villa we have ever stayed in with the most welcoming host

We spent 2 weeks in Spiro’s beautiful villa and have to say it was the best equipped place we have ever stayed in all our travels. Spiro and his family were so kind and welcoming with every small detail thought of, from mosquito repellent plugs, wasp repellant coils to a fridge stocked full of fantastic homemade wine and liqueurs to a whole watermelon and Dalmatian ham and cheese platter. Spiro even arranged a cake for my daughter’s birthday at my request and provided a bottle of Prosecco to accompany it. His dad provided us with figs from their garden. It was heavenly. The beds were so comfortable, the pool spotlessly clean and the hot tub a welcome treat in which to watch the sun set over the mountains with a glass of wine. You do need a car to get to restaurants and supermarkets but we liked staying away from the hub of the coast in a local mountain village with all its charms. In any event a 20 minute drive gets you to the beach and plenty of places to eat. As well as the beach (we loved Brela in particular which was a 45 minute drive) we visited Omis for canoeing and zip lining, Salina for Roman ruins, Kliss fortress (for Game of Thrones fans), Trogir and even went to Brac Island by ferry. Spiro and his lovely daughter Stela also took us out on a boat to Ciovo island for swimming, lunch and beaches, all only for the price of their lunch. We spent 3 nights in Split at the end of our stay with Spiro but all the city’s delights can also be sampled in a half hour drive from the villa. Do not hesitate to book, you will love the villa, Spiro and his beautiful family. Hvala!

Loved it

We loved our stay at Špiro’s place for the second week of our holiday. It’s lovely inside. Very spacious and modern with AC throughout, which was lovely. We spent most of our time by the pool area which is lovely and has a great view of the valley. We even had fresh figs and plums from the garden available to eat whenever we wanted. We’d love to stay there again. Cheers

Ein Ferienhaus, das auch für Senioren gut geeignet ist

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in diesem Ferienhaus. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten ( Split, Omis, Trogir, Sibenik, Krka-Nationalpark, herrliche Strände )sind gut zu erreichen. Der Vermieter Spiro ist äußerst gastfreundlich und zuvorkommend. Pool und Whirlpool sind hervorragend und die Gesamtausstattung des Hauses ist optimal. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Prachtig gelegen huis als iitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in het huis van Spiro. Hij is een uitzonderlijke goeie gastheer die ons het gevoel gaf helemaal thuis te zijn. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. We mochten zelfs onze electrische auto opladen op de property. En we kregen heerlijke verse biologische groenten uit eigen tuin. Met bij aankomst een gevulde ijskast met drinken, watermeloen en hapjes. Al met al, geweldig! Dankje Spiro voor de goeie zorgen.

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub

Die Ferienwohnung war genau so wie es im Inserat beschrieben war. Alles war sauber und wir wurden mit vielen lieben Aufmerksamkeiten nach der langen Autofahrt begrüßt. Unsere Kinder haben den Pool geliebt und wir Erwachsenen haben den tollen Ausblick und den warmen Whirlpool sehr genossen. Sollten wir mal wieder einen Urlaub in dieser Region planen, kommen wir sehr gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für alles!

Villa et accueil très sympathique

Spiro a facilité notre arrivée plus tôt et nous a accueilli avec de nombreuses surprises. La villa est située à une vingtaine de minutes de split. Nous avons apprécié le calme avec la piscine , le spa et les séances calins avec les chats.

Wir sind von der Gastfreundschaft der Kroaten begeistert. Und Spiro als auch seine Familie waren sehr hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Die Wohnung und der Ausdenbereich ist genau wie auf den Fotos. Fantastic Family Holiday 5*

What a fabulous villa and location, we visited for two weeks with our children (7 yrs and 10 yrs), the Villa is exceptionally well kept and has everything you will need, Spiro also left us a whole array of goodies for when we arrived including watermelon, ham and cheese platter and an array of his family produced wine and liquor’s . It was a wonderful welcome after arriving quite late in the evening. The Villa is in an excellent location for exploring, especially the more family friendly areas towards Omis, we also went to the starry night Observatory which is only 10 minutes away and the children really loved that. As well as the Krka waterfalls, Trogir and a whole array of different forts to explore nearby. Spiro is an excellent host and was available to recommend restaurants and give advice on days out etc, even managed to find us number ella stand we needed for the beach. You will need a car, only thing to be aware of is the villa has a steep drive that can be quite hard to turn in. The sunsets from the villa are amazing! Would highly recommend a stay at this villa.

Great property and location for exploring the area

Excellent property that has everything we required - beautiful pool, hot tub, outside seating, eating area, bbq, outside speaker with bluetooth, darts. Inside - good aircon throughout, new kitchen, good tv with playstation and games. Our host Spiro could not have been nicer or more helpful - some beautiful food and wine to welcome us, advice and help for shops and trips. The location is off the beaten track - 20 mins from Podstrana and Split and the same from Omis in the other direction. We enjoyed a day lazing at pool then a day out - We took car on ferry to Brac Island, hired a speedboat to the lagoon and Trogir, did the zipline over Cetina river at Omis - would recommend all of these. Many thanks to Spiro.

Privater Pool mit Ausblick abseits vom Trubel und doch nah an allen Ausflugszielen

Wir haben 9 sehr erholsame Tage in der Ferienwohnung verbracht und die Privatsphäre und den Pool so ganz für uns sehr genossen. Spiro ist ein toller Gastgeber, der immer für Fragen zur Verfügung steht (Tipps für Einkaufen, Restaurants, Strände, Ausflüge gibt er gerne). Begrüßt wurden wir mit einem gefüllten Kühlschrank und Getränken – ein toller Service nach der langen Anreise. Immer wieder fanden wir morgens frische Feigen aus dem eigenen Garten in einer Schale auf der Terrasse. Die Wohnung ist großzügig, sauber und die Küche funktionell mit den wesentlichen Dingen ausgestattet. Die Lage am Hang oberhalb eines Tals ca. 10 km von der Küste hat uns sehr gefallen; wir haben die Ruhe, den Ausblick, die täglichen Sonnenuntergänge auf der Terrasse am Pool und den Sternenhimmel bei Nacht genossen. Abseits vom Trubel und doch nicht weit von vielen Ausflugszielen – für uns hat das einfach gepasst. Zum Einkaufen oder abends mal nach Omis oder Split fährt man 15-25 Minuten, Trogir, Sibenik oder der Nationalpark Krka sind ebenfalls gut erreichbare Ausflugsziele. Wenn nochmal Dalmatien, dann gerne wieder hier!

Apartment Stela

We have just returned from Croatia and had a fantastic week in this beautiful villa. We would recommend it to anyone. The location was stunning, and we enjoyed sitting in the Jacuzzi in the evening watching the sun go down. It is close to Omis, which has great beaches, restaurants and loads of activities. Kayaking on the Centina River was a great day out. We would definitely like to thank Spiro and his family, for making us feel welcome and relaxed. A beautiful platter of cheese and meat was provided on arrival, and we could pick fruit and vegetable's as we needed them from the property. The home-made wine that was provided was also amazing. Spiro was a great host and nothing was to much trouble if you needed help or information. If we return to Croatia we would definitely return to this villa for future holidays.

A little piece of heaven!

Just got back from a fantastic one weeks stay at the Stela apartment where we had an absolutely wonderful time in this stunning property and beautiful location! The property itself is perched on the side of a valley and fairly high up and away from everything but is extremely peaceful and tranquil with beautiful sweeping views across the valley.The pool and Jacuzzi are out of this world with a beautiful red brick fully enclosed barbecue all the outside furniture you require and lovely terraced gardens.The apartment itself is spacious with everything you need including satellite TV,PlayStation, Netflix and a full surround stereo system. The main bedroom also has a TV as well as A/C in most parts of the apartment. A car is essential unless you are happy to stay put but it's not too far to central split and all the coastal towns and beaches as well as the two shops in the village down in the valley. We will definitely be coming back and would like to thank Spiro and his family for making us feel very welcome and appreciate very much the delicious cake home grown wines beers and various foods provided.They really made us feel very welcome and we shall definitely be returning again soon.

Great apartment

Spotless spacious apartment. Pool and hot tub wonderful and it was tempting to spend all our time there. Split and Omis were both 20 mins away so lots of activities and beaches within easy reach. We also had a trip to Brac for the day. Spiro and Ana couldn’t have been more helpful. Spiro made lots of good recommendations, Ana cooked cake for us and they took us out to an Island on a friends boat. A fantastic day out. We arrived late in the evening and they had put ham/ cheese/ beer and watermelon in the fridge. I would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday away from the busy coast. Thank you!

Well equipped, good host, property as expected

Con - location. On one hand - close to the airport (45 mins) and main landways. On the other hand - Giorni Sitno is located outside of everything ( As described in the ad/reviews). Don´t expect to have a coffee, food or grocery store w/o the car. On the other hand - you will come close to the non-touristic paths of Croatia. Being at the slope of the mountain, I suppose it can be a bit windy than in lower areas some days. Pros - never been to a more equipped apt, host even left good left-overs from previous guests. If you want peacefulness, good pool, nice view & great bbq place and can be w/o seaview this is the place. Beds etc of very good quality. Living room suitable for relax regardless of weather.
