"Very nice location in a quiet area. Restaurant choices were somewhat limited. This is a nice retreat from hectic life in the fast lane. In off season the island is very easy to get around, and the lifestyle is very laid back. A great vacation destination."

"Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Nice size room with small couch and table in addition to the desk and dresser you would usually expect. Very quiet. Added plus: Waffle House and another restaurant (which was a nice ale house share the parking area with the hotel. Very convenient. "

"All properties in the area are small so the inn has parking on the ground level, with the lobby and rooms on the second and third floors. The staff is super helpful, the rooms are clean and quiet. Our room was quite large with a sectional sofa besides the king bed. For breakfast there are fresh turnovers, muffins, bagels, and cereal. There is a coffee machine that allows you to choose your style of coffee. The lighthouse museum is across the street, as well as the ocean, shopping and dining within a block or two. We enjoyed our hotel stay and our four days in St. Simons."

"This is an oceanfront hotel that dates back to the 1960s. It isn't a modern resort and that is the charm of it to me. It is updated and crisp but my wife and I always talk about staying at "The Corsair" when we go to Jekyll. The Holiday Inn on the island is almost its twin (must have been built at the same time) but the Corsair is our favorite. "
