This was a great property for us. Centrally located to all we wanted to do including visits to Louisville for Churchill Downs, Valhalla and the Slugger museum; to a day trip to Mammoth Caves and several stops along the bourbon trail. If you're doing the bourbon trail, don't forget to do the Kentucky Cooperage ISV in Lebanon, KY. One of the best stops on our trip and came as a recommendation when we visited Wild Turkey.
The King bedroom and bath is massive. The second King is next to it, and guests walk across the kitchen to a jack and jill bath that shares with the other queen bedroom. The final queen bedroom has its own bath. Understanding this configuration would have helped us a bit, so that's why I'm sharing. We didn't use the loft bedroom upstairs but it had a floor fan so I thought that would be useful.
The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We didn't really cook much here except breakfast. The charcoal bbq is like the one you'd find at a public park. Not really our speed, but there were briquets in the shed. We didn't use the firepit or the shed bar. We were always on the run, but it was nice to have it there.
Best thing was the fishing poles. The guys in our group loved it and fished every morning and evening. Caught and released over a dozen fish and they had a blast doing it.
