Rural garden studio - the ideal getaway
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (2)
"What a find! Not only is the property incredible, but it’s the little touched that really made our stay so enjoyable. The ‘couch covers’ made Evie 🐶 feel more at home, and she was pleased to have snuggles on the couch. There was milk in the fridge, home made granola, and all necessary items like oil, salt, honey. The host then arrived and told me she had made me some home made bread! I was really touched by Evelyn kindness. And the bread was delicious! She took time to say hi to Evie and let...

"Very convenient location, walking distance to the town. The kitchen is well equipped for doing light meals. The bed is very comfortable and overall the unit is clean. Overall a satisfactory stay if you’re prepared to overlook a couple of issues. However, the freezer section of the fridge was not clean. There was an unpleasant smell in the unit, possibly cooking smells from the adjoining unit which had a door, also every noise from that unit could be heard.. "

Fechner Place★Barossa Studio★ 1 Bed ★1 Bath ★Wine
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (13)
"Great two night stay in a beautifully presented property close to Peter Lehman (we were there for A Day on the Green). The only minor drawback for us, which I didn't pick up on when reading the description was that the accommodation was a studio (kitchen, dining, living and bedroom all in one), and the kitchen was limited to microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster (any washing up was done in bathroom), but for a short stay this isn't a big issue at all. "My stay was absolutely wonderful. Such a beautiful property in a convenient location, only an hours drive from all the places I wanted to visit. Communication with the host was so easy and a quick response. The only thing I didn’t like was that the bed was way too hard for my liking. "

1890s stone hayloft overlooking beautiful gardens and courtyard.

"I left two nights early. The property is filled with spiders (daddy longlegs and huntsmans) with spider webs everywhere. I cleaned a lot but they return the next morning. Many surfaces were tacky/sticky. There were long strands of dark hair in the bathroom. There are dust balls/old web/grit in all of the corners. The decor is claustrophic and kitsch. There are 3 or 4 pieces of cutlery with melted handles. I sliced my palm on one of them. The light attached to the ceiling fan above the bed...
