Fern Hollow is one of 5 luxurious tiny homes that make up Littlefield Retreat, a tranquil woodland village of 3 treehouses and 2 hobbit houses – each with its own private hot tub and dock. To see all five dwellings, search on Sanford Maine and use the map. This 15-acre forest retreat on Littlefield Pond offers our guests an experience that feels like a trip up to the woods of northern Maine, but is closer to home and to all the attractions of southern Maine.

Fern Hollow has two separate bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and a single full bath. The full kitchen has an island that marries the kitchen with the living area, and flows to a large outdoor patio with a private hot tub and fire ring.

Unique and different
Fantastic stay, fun little family adventure. Clean quiet. Not everyone can say they've stayed in a hobbit style house! Expected it to be further in to the wilderness but location was actually very convenient but plenty out of the way. Will stay again in the future!

Very relaxing
My husband and I truly enjoyed the Hobbit House. We took full advantage of use of the canoe, swimming and fishing. The property was very relaxing and we achieved that “purposely lost” feeling. We would love to come again!
