"All in all we had a good stay there. Honestly, the cabins have seen better days and were a bit rough round the edges but, it was fully equipped for a family to stay (only 2 of us) and had pretty much all we needed. Beds were comfy, everything worked and thank god there was enough heating as it was FREEZING COLD down there. It is a bit tricky to find at first off badger rd. "Our stay at Soumah wines was literally a little piece of heaven on earth. Feel so very fortunate to have stayed there. Just stunning. Everything was amazing. The villa, the views, the wines. Went for lunch on the Sunday too and it was delicious and the staff just wonderful. Made us feel so welcome. I really cannot recommend Soumah wines enough. It was devine from start to end. I just hope to be able to come back. "

"I stayed here after my wedding night, the check in could be a lot better as we did not receive the key code and had to stand outside the property at 11pm calling for the code, other than that it was a beautiful cottage, great views and peaceful. The drive way is extremely steep so a sedan might struggle. "

"Very Serene location with lake and bush style cottage living feel. Very friendly host who bakes the best bread. Cottage is large, allowing kids to have their own time. Large SPA-bedroom-bathroom-Kitchen-Sunroom was all on point. Definitely recommend for a relaxing family getaway in nature."

"What a beautiful spot to stay when exploring the Yarra Valley. I loved sitting on the porch and watching the Alpacas. We had everything we needed, and even an emergency box of goodies in case we forgot something. Plenty of firewood for the amazing wood heater, clean and very comfortable beds. The host came over to greet us on arrival, and then left us to enjoy our time. I would stay there again, very happy."

"Wombats. That's the review. I'm not sure how to make this easier for everyone but there are wonderful wombats around the property. They come right up to the accommodation. They LOVE eating the chestnuts that fall off the surrounding trees in autumn/winter. Best times are early evening after dark until about 9pm and then sporadically until about 4am. "Beautifully fitted out. Modern facilities and comfortable bed and lounge chairs. The black and white colour scheme was charming and everything matched. We enjoyed our night in this small but lovely cottage. Would be very happy to stay again"
