The Ailim house was truly one of the best places I have ever stayed. The cottage itself is beautiful, has all the conveniences needed, is comfortable, and perfectly accessible to St Andrews. The hosts are lovely people who went above and beyond to make our stay the best ever.

They were super friendly and very communicative through the Expedia app as we dealt with lost luggage being delivered. Great location as you can walk to the Old Course in 5 minutes.

Best place to stay in St Andrews

Absolutely lovely cottage with the best hosts I've ever experienced! They thought of of everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. Cypress Cottage adorable with fun decor and attention to details for comfort. I was travelling with my two teenage children to see the University and this property was perfect for the three of us. Parking next to cottage makes it perfect if you are driving, the location just on the outskirts of town centre mean its quiet yet easily walkable to everything. If you are lucky enough to stay here I encourage you to order breakfast - it was incredible! 5 star dining! Just a fantastic stay cannot recommend enough!
