Charming guest house walking distance to all that downtown St Augustine has to offer. Built in 2017, this one bedroom, one bath, 500 SF apartment is located above our garage to accommodate guests in their own private setting. This property is an easy walk to both Uptown and Downtown St Augustine attractions. There are many restaurants just a short walk away including River and Fort, Raintree, Juniper Market, Borillo s pizza, Luli s cupcakes, and Mojos BBQ just to name a few.
This property includes a king size bed, 12 foot ceilings, ceiling fans, central heat & air, endless hot water on demand, 2 large screen smart TVs and high speed WIFI
Enjoy your own private entry to this upstairs apartment (approx 20 steps) with reserved, on site parking. This property does not have cable TV. The smart TVs have antenna reception which provides a hi def picture and receives all the major networks.
The kitchen does not include a range. There is a built in microwave, toaster oven and a griddle.
Downtown St. Augustine is best navigated on foot. Bicycles are not recommended as there are no safe provisions made for them on the roads or sidewalks.

Lovely weekend getaway

Perfect Rental Experience
I have rented many places over the years and this place takes the #1 spot. Melody and Alli were welcoming and happy to have us. The thought and attention to detail they put into this space and your rental experience is top notch. We were a short walk to the heart of historic St Augustine. We were able to walk to all attractions and restaurants. In a 4 night stay we only moved the car once and that was to drive to the lighthouse and beach on our last day.

The owners have thought of everything! Comfy bed, remote shade on windows, phone chargers next to the bed, fluffy towels, and even a treat of chocolate chip cookies. We walked to restaurants and shops. Lovely weekend in St Augustine and would stay here again.

Beautiful cozy modern retreat!
I booked the Uptown Shack as a surprise for my husband's birthday. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the historic downtown area. The hosts were amazing, providing great local recommendations. Every detail was very well thought out. The amenities, cozy atmosphere, and decor made it a perfect place to relax after a long day of walking. I highly recommend the lovely Uptown Shack and the to anyone visiting St. Augustine.

Perfect location!
The photos do not do Uptown Shack justice. We couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations. Every detail was addressed from linens to snacks to ease of access to everything downtown. I have already given the information to several of my friends and told them this place is over the top with amenities and upgrades. Thanks again for letting us visit.

Wonderful place in great location
The “shack” is far from it! Spotless, sunny and comfortable, ii is the perfect place to lay your travel weary head. Short walk from everything in Old St. Augustine. And the special touches of home made cookies, copious bottled waters and other beverages, and even mini toiletries to fill in what you may have forgotten! So thoughtful, it is one of the most pleasant rentals we have ever stayed in-and we have stayed in MANY rentals. Thank you Melody and Ali!
