Nothing fancy but I don’t need fancy. Has a great retro feel like the places I stayed in the 60s and 70s growing up. It was very clean and very convenient to old town St Augustine. Just over the bridge. The price was fantastic! And the staff super nice and helpful.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during the Christmas holiday! Its location is unbeatable—within walking distance to Lion’s Bridge and the historic district, making it easy to explore nearby scenic spots without worrying about parking fees. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. The room itself was a delight—cute, clean, and recently remodeled. I especially appreciated the modern touch of a mini-Keurig with free K-cups, which was much nicer than the traditional coffee makers. Best of all, the price was excellent for the quality and location. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Saint Augustine. Highly recommended!

Room very clean and comfortable. Property appeared newly painted. Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful. Allowed late check out and allowed us to leave our car parked on their property after we checked out so we could explore more. Great location. Easy pleasant walk over bridge to town. Would definitely stay there again. Have recommended the property to several friends thinking about going to St. Augustine

The woman at the front desk was very rude. When I showed up she didn’t greet me but automatically said “did you bring a dog”? I told her yes and it was my service dog. Within minutes of checking in we decided to go for a quick walk over the bridge and my dogs hips hurt so we let him lie down in the room. She came to our room and started to tease my dog and make him bark through the door which he never does (I have video that she took). I decided to immediately check out and did not stay. I went down the street to a different hotel where I was greeted professionally and they had no issue with my service dog and he never barked the entire night. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The woman was very rude and seemed like she was looking to agitate guests to get them to check out. It seemed was the target but I decided to just check out. It was a nice location but I would avoid it due to her customer service.
