Fantastic hosts in an idyllic location. Walking distance to Portmellon for paddle boarding is less than 5 mins and with a nice pub.

Short break.

We booked a room with a panaramic view and it was spectacular.The room was clean and comfortable and quiet.The staff were friendly and helpful.Breakfasts were a joy with plenty of choice.The whole experience made my wifes 70th birthday a real treat.

Unacceptable dark and dingy en-suite

Honestly, I haven’t seen a bathroom like the en-suite in our room since the 80’s. John and Elica are a nice couple but they have let themselves down. The hand basin had a crack in it and wallpaper was peeling off the wall. It was generally tired and not conducive to the room rate charged. We were on a road trip and this was the only blot on an otherwise enjoyable trip. Frankly, room 6 should not be used until this is rectified. Honestly, as far as condition of the room is concerned, this is the worst B&B we have stayed in for some time. Very disappointed
