Lovely Cottage
This cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay in St. Charles. It was walking distance to the downtown area right next to a path down the river. We stayed here with our baby and grandparents and it was a great set up. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Location
It was a perfect location to spend the night. We were attending a wedding at St Charles Country Club. Quick and easy drive. All was great. The only thing we would have liked were some extra blankets. We looked around and only found a small throw blanket. It was one of the first pretty chilly nights. Not a deal breaker. Everything else was perfect!

Cute Cottage
The house was super cute & clean. The host was very quick to respond to questions. Great location with plenty of food nearby. With traffic it was about an hour & 15 minute drive to downtown Chicago. Highly recommend

Fantastic location. Walking distance to town, trails, river, everything. Super nice house. My only comments would be to have the deck furniture cleaned of cob webs, deck blown off and perhaps soap available in the showers. I would 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone

Clean and convenient
This was a clean, comfortable home near the Fox River. It was quiet yet convenient for very short trips to both St. Charles and Geneva. We would definitely stay here again. Be sure to read what amenities are provided.

Great property in a great location.

This house is immaculate, well-stocked, stylishly decorated and one of the nicest VRBO properties in which we have stayed. The backyard is huge and the view of the river front the family room is beautiful. In addition, the owners are very communicative, helpful, and kind. We will definitely book this house again.

This was the perfect home for my family’s annual holiday shopping trip. It was beautiful, cozy, and very clean. The host created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere and even had a beautiful Christmas tree set up. Highly recommend….you wont be disappointed!

Great spot for a biking getaway
Did a quick getaway with our grown son to do some biking, hiking and music at the Arcada Theater. House was perfect for our needs; comfortable and convenient, well-maintained and clean with comfy beds. Couldn’t ask for more.

Perfect Sisters Getaway
We had a lovely time at this property. It was newly remodeled, and many amenities were in place, which made our stay so enjoyable. Everything was very clean. Nice decor. The main bed was very comfortable. The showers were nice and hot. Private parking at the back of the house was nice and secure. The location was excellent, right along the Fox River. We were able to make our way throughout the area with ease ( St. Charles, Geneva and Elgin). We enjoyed some meals out and would recommend the following restaurants: Buttermilk for breakfast, Craft Urban for lunch and Gia Mia for supper (excellent Italian food!).

St. Charles spacious retreat
We selected this property for its proximity to biking trails and pet friendliness. It fulfilled these needs and much more. The east-facing backyard and patio provided much appreciated shade on the hot days plus lots of room to throw frisbees for our fetch-crazy dog. The home itself is recently renovated with all amenities (central AC, modern kitchen & bath etc) and is nicely decorated. The driveway opens to a busy road, so having room to turn the car around in the area near the garage was helpful. For biking, we literally went out the back gate onto the Fox River Trail, part of an extensive network of trails in the region. As a couple, we had everything we needed on the first floor (bedroom, two baths, kitchen, living/dining area), but two bedrooms and full bath are available upstairs for larger groups. Neighbors on both sides were friendly and helpful, and most drivers stopped whenever we crossed roads. We discovered some great restaurants nearby, plus two dog parks with swimming ponds a short drive away. This home checked all boxes for us.
