"I highly recommend The Vintage House to anyone who is staying Pinhao. It is a lovely property with great service, very clean, good food and ambiance. We had an early train and since we didn't have time for breakfast, they provided a bag lunch for us that included sandwiches, croissants, pastries, an apple and water; perfect! A beautiful quinta which had everything we needed!

"A fantastic stay at a beautiful property with amazing views and surroundings - and dog friendly ! We had the best time including our Labrador who loved exploring the vineyards ! Shame we couldn’t use the pool as it wasn’t very suitable due to the weather, but nevertheless, it was a great experience ! Topping it off with great hospitality throughout !"

"Staying here was restful, and very peaceful. Perfect! We enjoyed the privacy of the location. The generous breakfast, and attention to details. It is centrally located to the area sights we wanted to see. It was lovely to have the vineyards to walk through, beautiful views of the river Douro. Definitely recommended!"

"Quinta da Barroca is an excellent place for a relaxed family time in Douro or for an event. It lacks some maintenance or improvement in some things (such as the children's park and the sauna/jacuzzi), but the houses and the scenery are great.
