We walked to the general store and ordered pizza to take back to the cabin and the cabin was well stocked with what was needed to cook breakfast each day. We did not see a coffee pot but there is a keurig, so bring your coffee pods. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Overall a nice cabin, but a few disappointments. Was expecting a propane grill, what was provided was an extremely small charcoal grill. Porch covered with bird droppings, and no place to hang clothing inside cabin and very limited shelf space in bathroom. Upside, very clean and organized inside, large yard, nice and peaceful, would rent again, but would bring a tailgate grill to cook outside."

"A friend and I rendezvoused in the Canaan Valley in early November to hike in the nearby Dolly Sods and other trails in the area. Garagemahal was exactly as advertised: clean, quiet, spacious (for two people), and conveniently located. The owners/managers (Chip and Laurie), who live across the driveway, were friendly and available to provide information or report problems to (there weren't any), but were otherwise unobtrusive. We will return."

"Beautiful cabin nestled in the trees. Perfect place for visiting Blackwater Falls Park. The cabin was the perfect size and offered all of the amenities needed. We have our dog who always travels with us and this place was perfect for her too. The bed was very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the morning sunrise from the deck!"

"Nice and clean, very comfortable. Would stay again. Contract confusing over using heat or a/c, sounded like could not adjust temp, touch thermostates. We were only there 1 night so was not much of a problem at this time of year. Internet was an issue, it was the only time I had to pay for internet and was very hard to get connected. For the price of the rental we all thought the wifi should be included. This was by far quite a major inconvience. Otherwise very nice. "

From complimentary snacks and drinks and a well stocked kitchen, to comfortable beds and a cozy wood-burning fireplace, we truly felt at home. "Jim is a lovely and responsive host. The property is just as pictured on the website. The home is a treasure trove of objects from around the world. The bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen has most all conveniences that we needed to prepare meals. We were there in early November, I'm sure it is even more beautiful during the summer and autumn months when you can enjoy the outside features. "
