First floor sleeping accommodations feature the king master bedroom with flat screen TV, private full bathroom with jetted tub, and direct access to the covered deck with amazing beachfront views. The queen master bedroom on this floor also offers a full bathroom and flat screen TV.

Stairs lead to the open living/dining/kitchen area on the second floor. Here, comfortable seating, flat screen TV, and direct access to the covered Gulf deck provide soothing spaces to relax and enjoy your Island vacation. The queen sleeper sofa offers additional sleeping for your crew. The kitchen is open to the living area and is stocked with everything the chef if your crew will need to prepare beachside feasts. The dining table and bar counter stools provide plenty of space for hungry beach vacationers to enjoy shared meals and play games.

Great views but needs some attention

SPLASH is a great getaway!
I rarely give five stars across the board but SPLASH earned it! Location (on the beach!) is walking distance to most of the restaurants. Very clean, comfy beds. Great views from the living room, loved the decks! Our dogs loved the beach access, outdoor shower to rinse off was great.

Great beachfront for families and pets

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to SGI for, literally, decades. This house was perfect for 3 adults, 2 older teens, and our pets. The house had everything we needed, including beautiful, unobstructed views and super-quick access to the beach. The agency was very friendly, including the friendly ladies who answered the phone and the guy who came right away at 8pm to swap out the battery of the beeping smoke detector. We'll certainly look for Splash next year.

I kinda want to keep this to myself.... Great home and location. Can walk to several places of interest. ON THE BEACH! Rental agent was very helpful. We had to bug out to Panama City Beach for around 24 hours to dodge hurricane Idalia. Thankfully, no damage for the fine people of St. George Island, was able to come back to the house.

The outside furniture needs to be replaced due to mold and mildew2. The pots, pans, and cooking utensils are in awful condition3. The ceiling vent over the couch leaks4. The owner needs to put a fresh coat of paint in several places to make it look cleaner both inside and outside5. The TV in the master bedroom didn’t work

Splash on St George
This is an older property with fresh coat of paint. Several issues-broken lamp, torn screens so windows could not be opened for the breeze, beds were old, door knob in bathroom fell off, lint catcher on dryer broken in half, pots/pans and some utensils filthy dirty. Location was great and who doesn’t love to see the water each day. The lack of attention to details for the cost of the unit was disappointing.

Misleading Profile
I’ve been to St. George and have even stayed in one of the other townhouses like this one. I was excited and looking forward to the stay, but was very disappointed when I arrived at the house. The doorknob on one of the bathrooms was broken and one of us got locked in the bathroom for nearly 30 minutes. The size of every tv in the house is the same as a computer monitor (even the living room tv). The tv in one bedroom was broken and only showed blue. The house itself is very outdated. Rusty and falling apart on the ceiling and kitchen appliances. Barely any good pots/pans in the ktichen. Two of the chairs were broken on the porch as well. Pillows on the beds were clearly the cheapest you can buy. This house is not worth the price. Find a better place to stay, trust me.

Reviewer Comments: We love returning to SGI each year, and our first experience renting from GCVP left us very pleased with their attention correcting the few issues we encountered. Front door wouldn’t unlock upon arrival, but a phone call got us in for the evening & Diane arrived promptly in the morning to fix the lock. Before leaving, she removed a rusted safety gate that was discarded in a corner of the deck, and delivered a new wooden gate by noon, as well as a step-stool for reaching the tall cabinets. Great location; plenty of nice bath & beach towels; comfy den furniture for family time & a clean unit upon arrival. Would love to leave a 5 star rating, but investing in cosmetic touch-ups throughout & replacing the mildewed patio dining set is much needed. Thank you for sharing Splash with our family!

Awesome house!!
