"It was, as was previously reported, in serious need of updating. That said, we know that would come at a cost. For the budget traveler it is a pleasant, homey place to stay on a lovely, quiet crescent of powered sand. Plenty of hot water and the kitchen was perfect for breakfasts in room. It is walkable to several good restaurants and beach bars. The staff are warm and helpful. Especially my namesake, Kathleen. Her employer should know she is worth her weight in gold! Other than a better lock...

"Wonderful resort with very nice staff. Only downside was that there was no elevator. We didnt know we would be on the 4th floor, and all those stairs were hard for certain family members. If you have any mobility concerns, I would request a ground level room. Otherwise a great stay! "
