Reservation payment policy:
The reservation balance must be paid in full 60 days before arrival. Failure to make the payment on time may result in the reservation's cancellation. A NON-REFUNDABLE $200. 00 deposit will be charged to your credit card during the initial booking.
If you are making a reservation for next year, 35% of the total reservation amount is due on January 31 of said Year. Thank you for understanding and complying with our payment requirements.
Cancelation policy :
1. Cancellations will receive a deposit refund for the total paid except the 200.00 deposit if canceled within 30 days before your reservation arrival date.
2. If you cancel within 30 days of your reservation, all deposit is non-refundable. However, we can accommodate a new date for the same home or resort cabin within the same year booked. This move does not qualify for any cancellation refund. Your total balance is due 60 days before the date of arrival. For this reason, we recommend travel insurance to protect your investment in your vacation, especially for groups of three or more cottages. Vacation Rental Insurance has been made available for purchase with your reservation.
Vacation Rental Insurance covers prepaid, nonrefundable expenses due to unforeseeable circumstances that may jeopardize your vacation investment and force you to incur unplanned expenses. 3. Guest damage insurance and 2% booking fee is included in the fees paid and is mandatory with each reservation.
*We do not refund for early departures, internet outages, or acts of God, such as the loss of utilities due to a storm that takes out the power of a rental unit.*
4. * How to avoid Third-Party additional fees: At Water's Edge Vacation Rentals, we understand that convenience is essential when booking accommodations. However, it is worth noting that we are advertised on several third-party channels that legally bind us to require guests to book directly through them, resulting in additional costs to the guest. We want to ensure that you have the best possible experience when staying with us, which includes saving money. Therefore, we highly encourage you to rebook your future stays by booking directly with us to avoid unnecessary fees. You can enjoy a more budget-friendly stay with us by cutting out the middleman and booking directly. Check-in time is any time after 4:00 PM; Check-out time is 09:00 am JUNE to AUGUST. All other months' check-out time is 10:00 am
5. Water’s Edge Vacation Rental staff can only authorize early check-ins, depending on the property's availability and conditions. Suppose guests enter the premises before the designated inspection time and disrupt the ongoing cleaning/inspection process. In that case, a minimum fee of $75.00 will be charged to the credit card on file for early check-in. • For departure and checkout times, please note that during June, July, and August, the checkout time is 9:00 AM. In all other months, the checkout time is 10:00 AM. It is essential for guests to entirely vacate the property by the specified checkout time to allow for the cleaning/inspection process to proceed smoothly. If guests have not entirely vacated the property by the checkout time and this disrupts the cleaning/inspection process, a fee of $25. 00 per quarter hour will be charged to the credit card on file for late check-out. We appreciate your adherence to these policies as they enable us to provide each guest with a well-maintained and enjoyable vacation rental experience.
6. Payment options: To enhance your convenience, we offer a variety of payment methods to choose from. You can settle your payment with ease using cash, personal checks, or travelers checks. In addition, we are pleased to accept major credit cards, including MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. Please keep in mind that for credit card payments, a nominal fee of 3. 5% will be added to the total amount charged. Reservation liability and responsibility: By making this reservation, the renter acknowledges and accepts full responsibility for any liability and physical damages to themselves or others arising from the rental of boats, motors, cottages, or homes. The number of renters will not exceed the specified party size limit. While occupying the home or resort cabin, the renter and their party take full financial responsibility for any intentional or accidental damage caused. This includes any costs associated with repairing or replacing damaged property.
7. Pet Policy and Fees: We understand that pets are essential to your family, so we offer pet-friendly units for your convenience. A fee of $150. 00 per stay. To ensure a smooth and transparent process, we request that you inform us if you plan to bring a pet. If a pet is brought without prior notification and is discovered during your stay, a minimum penalty fee of $50 will be charged in addition to the $150 pet fee to your credit card on file. Your cooperation and adherence to our pet policy are greatly appreciated, as it allows us to maintain the cleanliness and comfort of our accommodations for all guests.
A.Responsibilities and guidelines regarding pets during your stay.
*Guests will be held financially accountable for any damages caused by their pets, and they will also assume liability for any issues that may arise due to the pet(s) not being under complete control. *
*We kindly request that guests ensure proper waste disposal by promptly picking up after their pet(s). Failure to do so may result in additional fees being charged.*
*Additionally, leaving pets unattended in the home is not permitted and will incur an additional fee. *
*Pets must always be on a leash when outside the home.*
By accepting this reservation, the guest acknowledges and assumes full responsibility for any damage that may occur during their stay, in addition to the fees as mentioned above. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for all guests.
