Our goal is to provide an unforgettable Northwood's vacation for your family and we look forward to working with you to create a memorable stay. As you will notice from all of our 5-star reviews, we pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and enhanced cleaning practices that provide a safe and relaxing vacation.

Published base rates include bedroom areas #1 thru #5 and 14 people max. Bedrooms #6 and #7 can be added for $50 per bedroom per night, and must be rented for your entire stay. We do not allow inflatable mattresses or other temporary bedding. See below for more information about bedroom layouts and details about adding bedrooms #6 and #7.

Our luxurious full-log lodge overlooks beautiful Little St. Germain Lake and is a secluded masterpiece, yet we are located 1 block off the Bo-Boen Snowmobile and ATV/UTV Trails. Relax in the seclusion of this private hideaway and enjoy sunset views, swimming, fishing, snowmobiling, boating, and much more.

From the comfort of your expansive deck and fire pit area watch stunning sunsets, soaring eagles, listen to the loons, and feed the friendly deer that stop by for a snack on almost a daily basis.

Newly finished lower level in 2021 added 3 new bedrooms, another full bathroom and a large rec. room/TV room with a big screen smart tv, ping pong table, and plenty of seating to watch the big game.

Upon entering the expansive foyer and great room area you will notice 4,200 square feet of tasteful Northwood's décor, making you feel relaxed and at home. The first-floor master has 1 king bed, and bedroom #2 on the first floor has 2 queen beds. The huge upstairs floor has a private bedroom with 1 queen bed and 2 single beds, and 1 queen bed in the open loft area. The newly finished lower level (2021) has bedrooms #5, #6, and #7 with a queen bed in each bedroom. Base rates include bedroom areas #1-#5. Bedrooms #6 and #7 can be added for $50 per night per bedroom. There are three spacious full bathrooms, one on each floor. Sit down dining space if available for 14 people with a beautiful custom made, live edge hickory table that seats 8 in the dining area, and a large granite island that seats 6 additional people in the kitchen. Or dine outside on the huge composite deck that has tons of space for your family and guests.

Little St. Germain Lake is far from little, offering nearly 1000 acres of:

* excellent fishing for panfish/walleyes/northerns/musky and easy access to ice fishing
* several bars/restaurants on the water
* great public boat landing
* nearby, on lake rentals of jet skis, pontoon boats, snowmobiles make renting easy!

Our lodge is located on a quiet bay with tons of privacy. We are only 5 minutes from St. Germain, 18 miles from Minocqua and 12 miles from Eagle River with many outstanding supper clubs, Northwoods taverns, summer flea markets, bike trails, ATV and UTV trails and snowmobile trails located minutes away. In fact, the Bo-Boen trail is only a block from our property, providing 100's of miles of snowmobile and ATV/UTV trails to explore.

This impressive lodge has never been offered for rent until now. Bookings for summer weeks (Saturday - Saturday) are available in June, July and August. Snowmobilers and winter/fall guests can book now, with a 3 night minimum.

A very nice lodge
Very comfortable, loved the game room downstairs. Amazingly, has fiber optic internet. Deer and turkeys were frequent visitors,looking for corn. Large deck facing a beautiful view of the lake to the south, plenty of chairs.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property was perfect for our family of 10. Great location on the lake, beautiful sunsets and large deck to view the lake . The home is very well maintained and being able to rent the pontoon was a big plus. We have already booked again for next year!

So many memories were created here. The house was very clean, ample parking and the accomodations (ping pong table, 3 floors, washer and dryer, large bedrooms, 2 refrigerators and feeding the deer by hand!) We had a wonderful stay!

Amazing Family Vacation
We had an amazing time at this cabin! It fit our large family perfectly, the beds were super comfortable, and the outdoor space was stunning! We had a blast exploring the lake on the pontoon boat and visiting the islands for fun day trips. The amount of eagles we saw on the lake was incredible. There was even an eagle nest just to the right of the property with a young eaglet! I’d highly recommended this cabin for a family get together!

Beautiful log cabin on a lake in the woods. All rooms very spacious with a magnificent deck overlooking the lake. Eagles flying above and deer up close and personal seeking food. Host was extremely attentive to answer any and all questions. Would definitely rent this VRBO again.

Beautiful home, great for Vilas County adventures!
We recently stayed at Blang's Tall Pines Lodge with a large group for our annual snowmobiling trip. The lodge was fantastic - lots of room to spread out, very clean, and with a great number of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Darin (the owner) was easy to communicate with and proactive in getting us all of the necessary information on check-in and check-out prior to our arrival. We'd love to come back next year too!

The lodge was beautiful, well stocked and clean. Everyone loved the beds and the privacy was outstanding. Was really cool to see the neighborhood dear feeding in the yard day and night. We saw ducks, loons and a bald eagle was fishing by our dock. We loved the pontoon boat which was like in new condition. We really enjoyed our stay and had a great week of weather.

Perfect Up North Getaway
We had an amazing time at this beautiful home. Loved the house, the outside space and the area. The fishing was unbelievable from the dock. Incredible home for rest and relaxation
The property is beautifully serene. The home is stunning and well appointed. It has the best fireplace of any cabin we have stayed in. Comfy beds and everything you would need. As we sat outside we had daily visits from several deer. And a beautiful bluebird visited every morning. We saw an eagle on several occasions too. Probably the nicest cabin of the many we have stayed in over the years.

Family New Year
Our family of five enjoyed spending time at the Blang cabin. Due to this years lack of snow - no ice fishing or snow shoeing- we spent most of our time inside, playing games, putting together puzzles and of course, eating! The kitchen is well stocked with cookwares and the appliances all work nicely. The beds are comfortable and plenty of room to spread out! The location is excellent, easy drives to St. Germain, Minocqua and Eagle River. And even tho there was no snow, it is a beautiful property and area to walk about!

Glorious in every way!
This "cabin" was wonderful. Everything is clean, comfortable and easy to use. The beds, sheets, comforters and blankets were heavenly. The pontoon and kayaks provided us with lots of time on the lake. We spent hours on the dock and in the kayaks watching the eagles nearby who would swoop down and snatch up fish from the water right in front of us. The deer also came right up to the patio. The bugs were not bad at all, we were able to eat outside and have campfires without any issue. The whole week was just what we needed and exceeded our expectations!

Beautiful Cabin!!
I can HIGHLY recommend this cabin if you are considering a trip to Minocqua. The location and cabin are amazing! The views and the privacy make this cabin really feel like you are "getting away from it all". We enjoyed the weekend with 3 couples, but this cabin could easily accommodate larger groups and groups with kids. The furniture and bedding are new and the beds are VERY comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms are large and extremely clean. The kitchen has a big island and pantry. It is fully stocked with pots, pans and dishes. There are brand new appliances, granite counter tops and an extra refrigerator in the basement for overflow. Darin is very easy to work with and provided everything we needed to have a relaxing, peaceful weekend with friends. We plan to return to this cabin for many years to come......don't hesitate to book this one!

Liked: Listing accuracy
House bedroom count not accurate.
House should be listed for a 3 bedroom with a sleeping loft. The basement bedroom is a single bed in the middle of the basement with no egress. We chose to not use this "bedroom" because of the risk. If we had known this I might have gotten a different house. Price should change to reflect this reality that it only a 3 bedroom house. Other than that, the cabin is situated perfectly on the lake. After sorting out bedroom situation, we enjoyed our stay very much!

Ruined us for anywhere else
I'll start by saying this property has completely ruined us from staying anywhere else. It was just too perfect! The cabin was a perfect setup for our three families to enjoy an amazing week together. The furniture was all brand new, the mattresses where more comfortable than ours at home and the layout of the home was perfect for a large group, but would also probably work well for just one family. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious enough for cooking and serving a large group. The family room was a cozy and comfortable space for game nights and the ping pong table in the basement got a pretty good workout daily. The outdoors were great as well with the expansive deck and fire pit. We can't say enough about how great this property was and we are already trying to make plans to come back next year. Thank you for being so accommodating and sharing your home with us. We made many wonderful memories there and look forward to more in the years to come.

Best Little St. property yet!
We have been coming to the North woods for 24 years. We have almost always stayed on Little St. Germain Lake. We have tried a couple others over the years and this is our favorite. This property is by far the nicest we have stayed in over the 24 years. The location is perfect. The lodge was immaculate and well appointed. All we really needed to bring were beach towels. The views from the fire pit and back deck were beautiful. Since this summer was a little different and we weren't able to go to our favorite restaurants, we cooked in each night. The kitchen was well appointed and we were all able to be in there together enjoying each others company while we prepared our meals. It was so nice to all be able to sit down together in the spacious eating area. We enjoyed the deer and fawns that came by on a regular basis to share meal time with us. We had a few questions when we arrived and throughout the week. The owner was super friendly and very prompt to reply to my messages. I would highly recommend Tall Pines Lodge. We can't wait to return next year!
