"It was exactly what me and my wife were looking for. We stayed here for our honeymoon and after all the wedding planning and chaos, this cabin was a perfect recharge station for us. I booked 2 nights, but I wish I would've booked it longer. It was peaceful and a nice change of pace for us. We are planning on making it a yearly tradition going forward."

"We stayed on the coldest day of the winter and arrived very late. We were worried it’d be cold and prepared to bundle up. The cabin was fantastic! Richie, the owner, lives on site and started the heater well before we arrived. It was so warm we had to turn the heat down! The place was clean and cozy, each room had its own space heater. "This property is such a gem! We've stayed in many cabins similar to Carrie's before and this blew the others out of the water! Rustic but modern enough to where you felt at home. "This was my first time staying in a cabin with family and the experience here was great. The cabin we stayed at was enough for 7 adults with two bedrooms and a loft area with 3 beds. Just one small bathroom which was accessible via both the bedrooms. Word of advice one of the bedrooms has the bed right against the bathroom wall so be prepared to hear the business of anyone using the bathroom. The cabins are right next to a beautiful lake which you can walk to and there are kayaks available....

"Very pleased. Although the mattresses on the beds are very hard. Would suggest the following to make guests more comfortable: hooks for clothing and wet towels. There is no place to hang anything in the bedrooms or bathrooms. Waste basket in bathroom. Fitted sheets on bunk beds. Another chair by the couch area. Stools at breakfast bar nice. Take the plastic off light in bunk bed area. Not safe and could melt to glass if it hasn’t already. New Broom. I will upload photos. "
